(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy light orange color with a very thin and soapy white head. Aroma is hoppy and floral with some notes of grapefruit and malt. Flavor tastes like a pretty standard IPA; bitter and floral hops at the beginning with a lightly sweet and citrusy middle with a very slight bitter finish. Aftertaste is almost nonexistent.

Nice amber color with a nose of grapefruit and hops. Taste is hoppy with a touch of fruit and a nice finish. A good IPA.

Surprised to see this is rated so poorly. Its not great, but nowhere near bad. Pleasant hoppiness in the aroma, but its a bit weak. A little too sweet for my tastes as well. This beer is a bit confused, it wants to have the force of a strong west coast IPA, but, coming from Redhook, it must also bitch out and tame things down a little for mass appeal. Close to being a very good IPA, but not quite.

The aroma is hoppy and flowerish - the flavor is hoppy and then sweet before it goes over to a bitter aftertaste.

Bottled on 110607. Off-whte head that mostly diiminished, splotchy amounts of lacing, transparent, slow rising carbonation, and a yellow hue. The nose was hoppy, citrus, floral, sweet and some malt. The flavor was hoppy, citrus, some caramel malt and finishes sticky and somewhat gummy. The mouthfeel was fairly smooth with a bit of stickiness. Medium in body. An IPA that is not over-the-top hops, drinkable but not anything all that special IMO. A lot better ones of this style to be had.

Draft - Pours a copper color with a medium white head. Mild hoppy aroma, with hints of orange. sweet taste, with medium hop notes. Drinkable but not great.

Gold color with an average head. Aroma is of hops. Taste is hoppy but it weak for an IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly golden-orange with an average size diminishing white head. Mild aroma of light resiny floral hops and malt -- thats pretty much it, its hard to detect much as its so mild. Flavours not bad, hoppier then I expected which is a good thing but still mild though. The hop flavour kicks in halfway, backed by caramel malt and then theres a light to average bitter finish -- Its clean and theres nothing bad here, its just too light. Average bodied. Not bad, especially for Redhook and I could drink this, but overall its pretty average.

scooterbub (1064) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - MAR 10, 2008
Bottle. Pours a yellow amber color and has a good sized creamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is of pine, grapefruit and hops. Taste is of pine, grapefruit, hops and is kind of bitter and sweet. Leaves a hoppy/bitter aftertaste. I like the taste of this brew (reminds me of their Winterhook) and it has a nice alcohol content to it. IT is pretty enjoyable whether it is warm or cold. Overall, this is a nice beer, especially considering that it is moderately cheap for a six pack and is rather fulfilling.
