Bottle. The pour was a sparkling clear medium yellow with a slight orange hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that lasted for a good while leaving behind a thick foamy cap which produced some fair spotty lacing. The aroma was mild to say the least of a mild hay like malt, an herbal hop and a light moldy yeast with notes of caramel, toffee and a bit of citrus. The taste was mildly sweet and acidic with a note of caramel at first and then became mildly hoppy with notes of toffee and citrus at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration, with a hoppy citrus taste left behind to linger for just a little while longer. Mouthfeel was light in body with a dry, watery texture and a medium carbonation. Overall an average tasting IPA, a bit hoppy but nothing to overbearing...

(12 oz bottle, 6.2% ABV, Virginia USA) AROMA: medium hops, green, fresh bread. APPEARANCE: slightly cloudy, medium straw yellow, good visible carbonation, light head, some residual oily lacing. TASTE: solid/moderate hops and malt taste upfront, some cloves, pine/resin, tobacco, touch of anice on the finish. PALATE: crisp and sparkly upfront, slight crwmy texture, dry hoppy finish. OVERALL: decent beer, not super hopped as many craft IPAs but ok hop flavor and bitterness. More standard ale-like instead of classic IPA. Respectable ale that would be a solid every day beer with decent body and flavor.

One of the least hoppy IPAs I have tried. Poured well with a nice head. The rest rather uninspiring.

Thin head and light colour with quite a few bubbles. Not a very strong aroma or taste for an IPA.

Interesting candy sweet aroma (synthetic apple and pear and gummibears). When swirled around some grassy aroma apears as well, but still its not a very nice ipa aroma in my opinion. The taste is light sweet and moderate to low bitter for an ipa. Not much ale fruitiness though some in the finish which is quite ok. Still not a great ipa I think.

Bitter and a little one dimensional. I enjoyed this beer much more once it was poured into a glass.

Bottle from Thirsty Craft Beer Shop, Singapore. Golden with a large head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, some hops and cookies. Similar taste. Sweetish and with a fairly bitter finish.

Can. In a world of over-the-top IPAs this has no place. However, there is good hoppy notes on the nose and a nice hint of bitter taste, without a palate destroying disaster occurring when you reach for a second.

This IPA poured a medium Amber colour with a quick living, off white head. Scents include a little citrus, grass and a bit of hay. Little lacing. First swig was quite bitter with nice citrus hop flavour. A little caramel and juniper. Finish is quite bitter with hop flavour lingering forever. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 7/24/2015. Pours crystal clear deep golden/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.2%. Overall this is a nice IPA. all around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink for the style. Would be a good entry level IPA. Not too bitter; but still has nice hop complexity, with a bit more malt presence. A nicely enjoyable offering.

PanMarek (335) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 21, 2016
Cloudy dark golden pour with quick, slightly beige foam. Balanced hoppy and malty nose with touches of caramel and pine. Light body, light fizz, slightly watery. The hops come out in the taste giving it a bitter, resinous finish. Good balance of hops and moderate bitterness overall.
