Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of coicoa, vanilla and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cocoa, earthiness and light carmel with a smooth malty finish. Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2010
bottle thanks to someone in our group. poured dark amber. aroma was caramel and grains. flavor was caramel, grains, some spice, and citrus. body was light with high carbonation. Nuffield (4189) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JAN 31, 2010
I liked this to an extent appreciably above the current average, which is close to 3.0. I thought it struck a nice caramel note, with plenty of brown ale character and a lovely roasted note in the finish. There was something that seemed multi-dimensional and balanced, certainly very drinkable. Very good within the style.

this beer pours a deep copper with a thin tan head. the aromas are fruits and nut. the flavor is fruit(lemon?) and light grass? not a great beer but not horrible either. cheers! boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 30, 2010
Bottle... Poured deep, amber/sorta brown with a thick, off-white head. Malty, nutty, caramel nose. A light bodied beer, easy drinking with a caramel-malt and nutty character. Finished short and clean with a mild hoppiness that stayed way in the back there. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 30, 2010
