Bottle. Clear dark yellow pour, almost no head and a slightly sweet pear aroma. Flavor is light hay, white grapes, pear and slightly sweet on the aftertaste. Not bad. joeyplush (648) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 20, 2010
Clearish gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma is citrusy with notes of sweet malt. Later in the pour I noticed more prominent yeast aromas. Flavor is a bit lemony balanced nicely with sweet malt. Not as good as Sierra Nevada or Brooklyn Summer, but very solid overall - will definitely buy this again. JK (6092) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - NOV 2, 2010
A solid pils. A Bohemian Pils could use some more hops, but this is good anyway. Lager yeast in the aroma, with moderate hops. Full pilsner flavor, dry and grassy. Gold color. Good. canary dog (766) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - JUN 30, 2011
Very fizzy and with a big fluffy head. Tastes like a well-made European lager. It does not specifically remind me of a pilsner, since I cannot detect any Saaz or Noble hops. Bland finish is not very well-balanced (at least after the 2nd or 3rd beer), and almost has a stick in your throat, thick cloyingness to it. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Draft at World of Beer. Pours a clear gold color with a short lived foamy white head. Aroma has some classic Czech pils notes to it. Flavor is fairly light but still flavorful with some nice bitterness on the finish.

This Pilsner, on the other hand, is a fine specimen. Red Hook got this traditional German style very right. JoeTheYounger (1183) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Clear yellow pour nice head. Very crisp and refreshing pilsner to drink. Slight hop finish. Would be a good lawnmower beer. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2012
12 ounce bottle pour. Golden color with a nice head. Nice traditional pils. A little soft for a pils but very drinkable and refreshing. mkgrenwel (619) - North Shore, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Golden straw pour. Thin force-carbonated head. Aroma of biscuits and apple. Light malty character with very little hops. Could use some bitterness or hop flavor beyond just enough to balance. As a helles or vienna I would probably like this a good bit more. No problematic flaws. Ultimately a pretty good sessionable lager. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - DEC 11, 2012
Finger of head with descent retention. Medium straw colored body.
A nice grain smell with a note of honey.
Taste has a little fresh fruit, light grain, and moderate bitterness. Not the best balance, but still good.
Crisp and clean texture. Moderate carbonation and a lighter body.
A solid pilsner.
