Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarkets - 12 oz bottle.Pours a slightly murky medium golden with a bit of a glint and a slight white head. Sweet aroma with hints of distant fruit and some buttery notes. Refreshing flavor with some of the same buttery notes, muted citrus, and just a hint of cereal. Crisp mouthfeel. Not a bad summer refresher. puboflyons (3469) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 16, 2009
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle brewed at the Portsmouth, New Hampshire brewery and marked 037609. This pours golden-yellow with a short burst of fizzy head that simmers down in about 30 seconds. The lacing lingers a bit longer. RB calls it a blonde but the label calls it a "Light Beer." The aroma is hoppy and grassy. Slightly better than watered down mouthfeel althought I think there’s a little honey-like texture. No honey flavor though. The flavor has a bit of hops and a touch of bitterness with a decent finish. Not bad for a light beer. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - APR 14, 2009
free bottle from the rep... didn’t even think about it being a ’light’ beer. now that i know it is supposed to be a blond i feel even worse about it...
pours golden with a small white head which doesn’t want to stick around.
not much on the nose... it smells like pale malt and some earthy must.
the flavor is the same... weak with a strange fake sugar characteristic, must and cereal graininess.
it is not totally unpleasant but it does leave an odd coating on the palate...4/3/5/3/10/2.5 Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2009
Bottle from Binny’s beverage Depot In Orland Park, Illinois: It seems from the description ("a crisp, refreshing ale without the extra calories") that this is bland by design. Clear yellow/gold in body, it’s capped by a short-lived little head. No lace. The light aroma is honeyed grainy malt, and that’s what it tastes like, too. There’s a dash of grassy bitterness at the end that lingers a while. Okay for a lawnmower brew. OD40oz (774) - Box Elder, South Dakota, USA - APR 12, 2009
Golden with a white head. Very light beer. Some hops but not much for flavor. Would go down nice on a hot day. Still better than most light beers. I only bought this because they had a single at the local liquor store.

Bottle. Grainy aroma. Clear golden body, small head. Very mild, but not unpleasant flavor. Some slightly sweet cereal notes. Actually has a bit of a finish. marcus (10584) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 3, 2009
This yellow/gold beer poured with a decent white head and a caramel aroma. It goes down fast and clean, but there is not much flavor. bhensonb (15624) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 2, 2009
Bottle BevMo in Natomas. Gold color with a fizzy white head. Smells rather grainy. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor starts grainy and ends up a bit towards paper. There is some hop at the finish. All that being said, it drinks ok, if you don’t sip and savor. dogfish120love (1340) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - APR 2, 2009
Flavor consists very much of cereal (corn pops), malty sweetness, corn. Alright for a light beer although a little overly sweet in finish
