Clear light gold, short lived wispy white head. Pale malt forward aroma, slight fruitiness. Reminds me of a cleaner Redhook Blonde. Dry wheat character, light body, finishes very clean. Hope this beer catches on, there’s a gaping void in the light category. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - FEB 26, 2009
2/26/09 From the bottle. Aroma is very light, bready, with no real sweetness or sourness. Appearance is clear yellow with almost no head. Flavor is clear bready with light sourness, a little bit of sweetness and citrus bittering. Mouthfeel is medium-low bodied with a low, slightly acidic tang. Overall, not as rich as the Redhook blonde, but quite similar to other blondes on the market. ditmier (1508) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 18, 2009
2009 Bottle - First rating of this enigma brew...pours golden yellow with no head...aroma is clean, yeasty grain, light malt...flavour is pretty decent considering this is diet beer...heavy wheat grain, heavy carbonation, not much bitterness, but a residual cereal quality...not my favorite beer by any means, but as far as these diet beers go, this is the least offensive one yet...
