Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Cask Conditioned Gravity Dispense GBBF 09. A clear golden coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is quite fruity and poppy with oranges and lemons. The taste is citric and poppy again. Easy drinking but not very beery really.

[email protected] Yellowish golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma is nectar, fruits, alcohol (!) and rather sweet notes. Flavour is pineapple, mango, some grassyness as well. Very fruity and also has some slight vanillaish notes.

[email protected] 2009. Bright yellow color, small white head. Strong tropical fruity (kiwi) aroma, also some fruit sugar. Light palate. Flavor has fruity sweetness, some tropical fruits (kiwi, apricot, pineapple). Aftertaste is short. This is basicly a good beer, just needs a bit more body. Reminds me about Beer Here’s Fat Cat a bit.

On tap in USA, Golden light brown with no head. slightly citrus taste with light smooth flavor. Nice light summer beer, but nothing special.

Pretty average summer beer here, with a rather misleading name of "Sunrye" ale. I couldn’t pick up any resemblance of rye in the flavor or aroma, but I assume it’s there. Aroma was extremely light, with a touch of grains. Golden yellow body with a non-existent head. Light grainy flavor matched the aroma without detracting at all. Void of any flaws or issues, but nearly void of any flavor or aroma. Drinkable, if not forgettable.

Experienced via draft in a pub glass. The beer pours a medium to light golden color, with a slight and quickly disappearing white head. The was really no discernable notes in the nose, unacceptable in even this lightly flavored and breezy beer style. The palate was without character, giving little, if any, hints of rye, and made almost insipid by the too-high carbonation. I do not argue with the idea of creating refreshing summer beers to combat the warm weather. I do however, take issue with crafting those offerings to be devoid of character. A loser.

golden yellow pour with a small white head (the lack head is due to the rye content and is normal). aroma of citrus taste of fruits (complex esters) well balanced. i have no problems with this beer!

Cloudy yellow. Vanishing white head. Cardboard & skunk in the aroma. Nothing to the flavor at all. Blah.

Bottle... Poured pale golden with a white head that dissipated immediately. This is a god awful beer. Overly sweet, grainy aroma and the flavor wasn’t much different. Tasted like something Bud would produce. I guest it would be a good session but I would avoid this one.
