COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2003 Uh, okay...apparently the ratings for the old Redhook Rye have been morphed into ratings for this beer. They're not the same recipe, so I think that was a mistake. Anyway... Sweet, grainy, faintly spicy and yeasty aroma. Straw yellow color, lightly hazy, no head. Malty, lightly sweet flavor, very slight rye spiciness. Light bodied, watery, fizzy palate. Very boring and vastly inferior to the long-gone Rye.

Nothing special. Minimal contribution from the rye.
