COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Well this one is not that good. Very clear gold pour with a small white head. Aroma is very grainy and malty...but in the macro brewed style. Flavor is off, weak, grainy, some malt and some odd hops. No good.

This beer is underrated, I suspect that people don’t understand it. Pours a nice deep canary. Great citrus, hoppy aroma, with a citrus, hop, yeast, fruity finish. Nice complexity. This beer deserves to be rated higher here.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear yellow body with a medium sized white head. The aroma is light pale malts, slightly herbal, with a splash of lemon citrus. The flavor is grainy pale malt with slight sweetness, a splash of lemon citrus, hints of spicy hops and not much else. Light to medium body. This was low average at best.

marcus (10559) - Sacramento, California, USA - NOV 29, 2008
This bubbly yellow beer poured with a thin off-white head that disappeared in seconds. There is actually a pretty solid malt base that is fairly tasty. However, this is a beer that is designed for summer thirst quenching, so is a bit thin, but crisp and refreshing.

arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - OCT 4, 2010
Pours golden with white head, aroma is a touch of grain, biscuit, with a hint of spice. Much like the summer brew, not much to it, a bit of rye spice, biscuit sweet malt and a clean finish.

blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 21, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma has a nice hop/malt balance with caramel and floral notes. Sweet malt flavor with lemon and a touch of hops. Not bad.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 04/08/2009 Pine hop aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity pine flavour with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Surprisingly smooth and clean considering the style and ingredients. Nice easy drinking summer beer.

Cask Conditioned Gravity Dispense GBBF 09. A clear golden coloured beer with a whitish head. The aroma is quite fruity and poppy with oranges and lemons. The taste is citric and poppy again. Easy drinking but not very beery really.
