Rating this totally from memory, as they stopped making it a long time ago. Just remember it was a nice, enjoyable drink, but had to be poured very carefully........ proc (342) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - AUG 22, 2003
I had the chance to try this during my annual turkey hunting trip. A good friend, who is a Bud rep, brought some of this on the trip.
A decent offering from Redhook. The rye is present and somewhat detectable, but not so much that it detracts from the beer. It really is easy to drink and very refreshing.

This beer is underrated, I suspect that people don’t understand it. Pours a nice deep canary. Great citrus, hoppy aroma, with a citrus, hop, yeast, fruity finish. Nice complexity. This beer deserves to be rated higher here. lb4lb (2629) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 3, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2007 Light medium gold with lasting head and lacing. Has a nice grainy, malty/rye sweet smell. Taste is a small bitter bite, with a light grain sweetness, and smoother, kind of watery mouthfeel in the finish. Very drinkable, lighter bodied, refreshing summer beer that I could definitely have again. TheSponge (342) - Lynnwood, Washington, USA - JUL 17, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Safeway @ Lynnwood, WA. Pours a clear golden yellow with a very malty aroma. Light body for an ale, perfect for a warm evening like tonight.

Bottle. Clear golden, small off-white head. Smells bready, a bit spicy, a bit yeasty. Rye is apparent in the flavor, along with some biscuitty malts and a tiny bit of spicy hop at the end. A decently drinkable summer brew.

Pouring a hazy medium gold colour and a large foamy white head, this one came with a sweet, hoppy aroma, the rye perhaps? Taste was smooth and clean. I could knock down a LOT of these on a hot day (just to keep myself hydrated, of course). oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 11, 2009

Yellowish golden colour, small bubbly head. Aroma is nectar, fruits, alcohol (!) and rather sweet notes. Flavour is pineapple, mango, some grassyness as well. Very fruity and also has some slight vanillaish notes.

Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, grapefruit, fruity - mango. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Love this unfiltered brew. The best quality Redhook I've yet had. Crisp as befitting the rye (seems noticeable, perhaps its more than "a touch"?). Definitely refreshing. If I had access to this I would definitely drink it more often. Aroma seems adjunct-less.
