Clear gold beer. Little white head. Softish dry palate. Sweet dry malt, a little metallic and a little brandyish in it’s warmth. Some orange peeping through before a dry finish and a warm afterglow. Unsubtle and a bit clunky.
Bomber from Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Orange/copper color with a decent white head. Belgian kandi and spice lie beneath sweetish, somewhat tropical, fruit aromas. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Flavor is typically Belgian. Spice/yeast, hop, kandi and lighter fruit. Heat is not noticeable. It’s smooth and tasty. It drinks way too easy. Not all that sweet for a Belgian anything. A very good ale, but probably not going to duke it out with the big guys. Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 25, 2009

This is a good drinkable beer.

2009 vintage bomber from Peace Street Market in Raleigh. Pours a hazy amber with floating particles. The thin creamy slightly off-white head shows no signs of going anywhere. The aroma is spice, candi sugar, pears, citrus and a faintly hoppy finish. The taste is bread, candi sugar, bubblegum, butter rum, raisin, spice, toasted notes and slight oxidation. Medium-full bodied, high carbonation and a faint bit of warmth. BeerandBlues2 (13311) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 6, 2009
