Okay beer. Pours a nice bronze amber color. Not much of an aroma here and a rather bland taste. It leaves a lot to be desired ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Good piney hop and very light dark fruit nose. Cola color, thin tan head. Thin watered-down roast malt initial / some hoppiness emerges / all fades out quickly. Medium body, a bit rough on the tongue. Not much really "winter" about it.

Dark brown, reddish body with small white head. Aroma has mostly malts and some sweet syrup/sugar notes. Mouthfeel is light, somewhat watery with little carbonation. Taste is soft with nice bitterness. It’s a pretty good ale and I can see this working outside winter as well.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, thin brown head. Aroma not impressive, but flavor is actually not too shabby. Malty and toasty. Rich and some very mild spices, but nothing too overbearing. Nice bitter finish.

Draft the the candle pin bowling alley. Pours clear medium brown a frothy off white head. Tastes like malt, musk, gains. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like musk, malt, slightly bready, nutty, and sweet.

From a 12-pack of Christmas beers. This is a pretty one with a nice clear, dark amber body. Beyond that, I don’t know. It’s not quite an IPA take on a Winter beer, but there is some hop bitterness (45 IBUs per the brewery). A little caramel sweetness, a little roast, but these three elements seem to clash. I don’t think there are spices in it, which is fine with me.

Nose is very bland only a subtle hint of cinnamon. Appearance good clarity color is almost mahogany a deep amber hue. taste is bland over all only subtle hints of caramel, black cherry, possesses some sour off flavors. moderate carbonation. Overall not good. I would never drink this beer again.

Bottle looks like a chode. Taste is relatively bland but what it lacks in taste it makes up for in alcohol content.
