Bottle 25cl. @ Chris O’s Night of the Gaylords.yespr (45412) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2007
Clear medium to dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sipy - christmas spices, glue, wine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
25 cL bottle. Pours deep red with a fully gone head. Mild woody note of oak. Flavour is quite woody with a solid malt flavour. Finish is mild caramel malty with more of the same woody note. Nice but also a bit vague compared to other oak aged. Ungstrup (37558) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2008
Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet wtih strong notes of ginger and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of ginger and cardemomme as well as medium notes of caramel, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 16, 2010

Chriso Gaylord Tasting. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is hops, fruits, wood and some mild notes of caramel malts. Flavour is quite spicy along with some fruits, raisins, sweet malts as well as mild mild nuttyness.
Bottled. Dark brown. Aroma of sage and nutmeg. Sweet and roasty with mild, rounded mouthfeel and rich malt character. Warming and very enjoyable with some herbal bitterness in the finish. The balance between the malt and spices are excellent, and from all the good beers I’ve tried from this brewer this is probably my favourite.

(Bottle 25 cl) Courtesy of highlandlad. Clear, dark brown with a reddish hue and a small, beige head. Aroma of fruit, roasted malt and woody notes. Quite full-bodied with sweet notes of fruit and hard roasted malt - and then again these accents of wood. Subdued bitterness. Fairly unique and very pleasant. 171207 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2012

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Hazy brown beer. Sourish fruity nose. Light fruity palate. Subtle figgy plummy dark fruit. A little sourness in the semi dry finish.
Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Dark brown. Thin beige head. Really pretty poor. Infected and sour. Not good. Bit of raisin, but not right. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 6, 2014
Dark brown, not much head. Aroma is all kinds of cinnamon and clove, maybe ginger. Pretty thin, light ginger and clove, a bit of sweeter dark malts. Definitely too light for northern Christmas but I guess in Oz its a bit warmer in December. faroeviking (10910) - FAROE ISLANDS - DEC 17, 2007
Bottle. Clear deep mahogny colour. Roasty, spiced aroma with some smoke. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has roasted malt, spices, caramel bitter hops, smoke, bit of wood and good hoppiness. Smoked roasty caramel finish.
