Tasted at the fifth annual Colorado Wine Tasting Festival in Manitou Springs, CO. Again, a nice raspberry nose and body mingled with the dry honey taste. But as with the other nectar series, I could have lived without the carbonation. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2007
The aroma is sweet and fruity with raspberry and plastic. The appearance is berry red. The flavor is sweet and fruity without being cloying. The palate is thin but refreshing. Overall a really good mead. Palidor19 (3186) - Brandon, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2007
this is the best nectar style yet. it’s highly fizzy with flavor of sweet, ripe rassberries. the palate is thin, yet the rest of the mead fulfills your tastebuds. perfect for the spring. beerbill (3616) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 28, 2007
750 ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish pink with some effervescence. The aroma was honey and raspberries, but not sweet smelling. The flavor was a bit sweeter with the honey and raspberry flavors well-balanced. The light carbonation in combination with the flavors yields a mead that is very light on the palate and quite refreshing. And the cobalt blue bottle with the swing-top and their unique lable design deserve mention as well. Miguel (1181) - Saint-Ours, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 21, 2007

WBF-Raleigh. Clear light red body with no head. Sweet goney and raspberry aroma. Sweet slightly tart raspberry flavor with nice carbonation. thedm (6143) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 27, 2007
This $15.49 bottled brew with a flippy top from a bottle shop poured a head of bubbles that were and left behind a transparent uncarbonated red colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was honey and raspberry. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. It was actually quite good at first taste. The mellow flavor contained notes of raspberry and honey. It was very wine like too. The black curranr flavor increases as it warms up making it it worse tasting. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 26, 2007
At the 2007 Big Beer, Belgians, & Barleywines Festival in Vail. Pours light cranberry red with a small amount of carbonation, but mostly still. Medium sweetness with a great raspberry aroma. The honey sweetness is present, but overpowered by the raspberries. crizay (1050) - Brook Park, Ohio, USA - FEB 25, 2007
Draught: Pours bloody red with zero head. Very fruity, sweet, and tart straight raspberries but the honey really hits on the aftertaste coating my tongue. Really smooth and easy to drink but very fruity and girly, not bad and it tastes good just a little too sweet. Probably the best mead I’ve personally had, not a fan of the style. mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - FEB 16, 2007
Pours a glowing, syrupy red. Very light mellow smell of raspberries and cherries. Nice subtle carbonation to it that gives it some body and meshes decently with the raspberry taste. Finish is somewhat smooth. Dont really get much honey in this mead like I was hoping to. Average.
