COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redstone’s flagship mead! Lovely color & smooth fruitiness make this our most popular mead. Also blends well with porters, stouts, wheat beers, and sour ales! With the mouth feel and texture of beer and the light taste of a lower alcohol mead this beverage is the very definition of "refreshing".

WBF-Raleigh. Clear light red body with no head. Sweet goney and raspberry aroma. Sweet slightly tart raspberry flavor with nice carbonation.

This $15.49 bottled brew with a flippy top from a bottle shop poured a head of bubbles that were and left behind a transparent uncarbonated red colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was honey and raspberry. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. It was actually quite good at first taste. The mellow flavor contained notes of raspberry and honey. It was very wine like too. The black curranr flavor increases as it warms up making it it worse tasting. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

At the 2007 Big Beer, Belgians, & Barleywines Festival in Vail. Pours light cranberry red with a small amount of carbonation, but mostly still. Medium sweetness with a great raspberry aroma. The honey sweetness is present, but overpowered by the raspberries.

Draught: Pours bloody red with zero head. Very fruity, sweet, and tart straight raspberries but the honey really hits on the aftertaste coating my tongue. Really smooth and easy to drink but very fruity and girly, not bad and it tastes good just a little too sweet. Probably the best mead I’ve personally had, not a fan of the style.

Pours a glowing, syrupy red. Very light mellow smell of raspberries and cherries. Nice subtle carbonation to it that gives it some body and meshes decently with the raspberry taste. Finish is somewhat smooth. Dont really get much honey in this mead like I was hoping to. Average.

bottle - Pours reddish-pink with light carbonation. The honey and raspberry aroma is fairly mild. The flavor is mostly of tart raspberry. Smooth and easy drinking, it was refreshing and enjoyable enough.

Flip-top bottle. Transparent, minimal carbonation and a hot red hue. Sweet, honey, black raspberry, tart, and somewhat tangy nose. Flavor was sweet, tart, black raspberry, and some honey. Smooth mouthfeel and light body. A so-so mead, but there are definitely much better ones to be had.

On tap at Eugene City Brewery. What a mead! This was simply amazing. I loved the flavor, the way it unfolded so elegantly on my tongue. Very strong honey taste with the raspberry taste definatley present among a gorgeous palate. It sips nicely. The palate is splendid. This mead filled my mouth with joyous textures and a delightful beer-like body. Amazing. The aroma was nothing too great, still, it kept me drinking. The appearance is shocking. It looks beautiful. Try this one out, you might like it. I am definatley a fan.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish pink with falling legs. The aroma is lightly fruity with a few floral honey notes. The flavor is initially sharp, tart raspberry. Plenty of acidity keeps the honey sweetness at bay. The finish is dry and fruity. I’m impressed with the balance in this one.
