Bottle from MeadMe mead ticktacular redstone reserve vertical. Pours still golden. Aroma is cider-forward, with spice and honey notes. Tastes of heavy apples, balanced with honey and vanilla. Solid cyser.

Pours a flat reddish-amber color with a minimal head and decent sticky legs on the glass. Aroma of sweet apples, spices and honey. Full-bodied with flavors of sweet apples, honey and mild spices. The finish is smooth and warming with a lingering apple aftertaste. Good Cyser all around.

Bottle; thanks, P! Pours a clear but very dark, slightly rubied amber. No trace of head or lace. Huge sweet nose, lots of vanilla and a bit of pancake syrup, floral honey, some light tangy fruity notes. Sticky thick gooey body. Intensely, overbearingly sweet attack, mid-palate, and finish. Amplified apple and vanilla and pancake syrup on the mid palate. This tastes like a concentrated syrup youd use to make something else, rather than a coherent finished drink. Very well done, just incredibly sweet, even by the standards of showy meads.

Bottle @ Redstone. Hazed golden pour. Rich apple aroma. Lots of caramel, vanilla, and brown sugar. Some maple syrup to it as well. Very sweet, but quite nice. Flavor is sweet apple, caramel, and maple syrup. Vanilla, brown sugar, and a subtle fruit tartness. Excellent.

Pour at Redstone. Pours an orange brown, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong alcohol, honey, oaky, apple. Flavor is very sweet, with a juicy, apple, honey finish. Smells strongly of alcohol but it is well masked in the taste. No carbonation, med body and smooth texture. Really enjoyed this, even more so than the Reserve Traditional. A very tasty mead.

Bottle @ Bills house. Thanks Bill. Pours a clear dark golden appearance with no head. Spicy apple cinnamon, pear, honey, white grape aroma. A bit goopy, spicy hot cider, chewy honey, herbal, candy flavor. Maybe my favorite cyser Ive ever had.

Actually labeled as cyser reserve from 2004, pour into snifter out of bottle was deep orange, thick and syrupy. Aroma brought big notes of sweet golden apples, slightly tart green apples, some big floral, and sweet honey with vanilla, slight oaky notes as well. Taste is a really nice honey and caramel apple, with sweet and tart apples mixing with sweet and floral dry honey, finishing very sweet. Wow, very, very tasty.
