Draft pour (yep, draft) at Savannah Bee Co. in Charleston SC. Poured a clear yellow color without much of a head to speak of. Aroma was light hops, mild floral notes - some earthy notes, crisp sweet honey notes. Okay. Floral hop finish. A touch too thin for me. anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2016

500ml can - $2.99 at Bullock’s Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, very lightly hued, pale yellow body. No head formation.
Smell: A big splash of white wine garnished with a pair of wax lips and housing a hint of modeling putty. Very faint undercurrent of honey water. A hint of citrus, a nibble of orchard fruit.
Taste: A very light, spectral touch of honey. Slightly sweet. Mild citrus, floral hints. Modestly bitter, aided, in part, by the carbonation. Feels a bit, at times, like a fairly dry white wine. Finishes with some warmth, fairly dry and, again, a bit white wine-like.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Drinkable, yes, but not overly enjoyable. Didn’t hate it, though! thedm (6309) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 16, 2016
This bottled Mead from a beer bar poured a head of bubbles that were and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent weak yellow colored body and no lacing. The mild aroma was cinnamon vanilla and honey. The off-tasting crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering spicy aftertaste. The odd tasting flavor contained notes of mild spice and honey. Not one that I would likely drink again.

Sampled at the Manitou Wine Festival. The nose is brilliant clover honey, with good hop character of orange peels and pine. Very sweet, with a fairly significant hop bitterness that gives it a good dry finish. This is a surprisingly balanced, aromatic, and delicious mead. seehaferb23 (281) - - MAY 3, 2016
Cannery Row Beer Club tastes Meads tonight. This one was $11 per bottle. We have mixed feelings about the carbonation.

Tasting at Savannah Bee at their Broughton St. location in Savannah. The most expensive mead of the group I tasted and the one I liked the least. Pours a clear yellow gold with a fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet honey, citrusy hops, and a bit of apple. The flavor is similar. For me the hops and honey never really mesh together. On the lighter side of medium bodied. rumproasts (5575) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Tap. Pale golden with minimal head. Medium honey sweetness. Hops don’t mesh particularly well with the honey. Smells better than it tastes. Bif (2311) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JUL 11, 2015
Pours a pale straw color. Aroma of light fruit. Taste of light fruit and not much else. Light body, a bit watery. Reminded me of a wine spritzer. Expected a whole lot more.
