shared with thickfreakness at the Flying Saucer 8th anniversary party .. .Lots of odd aromas; light honey, english tea and nail polish dominate .. . pours a very clear yellow .. . very low bubbles .. funny enough, enjoyable, but you have to get over the smell .. . Bottle shared by a friend. Clear yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma of fresh floral hops and honey. Honey sweet flavor with a mint and bitter finish. Ernest (7889) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 6, 2007
Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2007. Body is very light yellow (almost colorless). Aroma is lightly hoppy (resin), with notes of insecticide, lemon zest, and honey. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Oh man...this was pretty awful stuff. Really unclean. Geokkjer (7663) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 17, 2013

Clear golden color. Cinnamon, light honey aromas. Same spicy cinnamon, light honey flavors, couldn’t taste any hops--good obguthr (6827) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Interesting aroma of stale grassy noble hops, hay, and of course honey. Very pale yellow, clear and still. Dry and light flavor initially, but the flavor of clover and honey , still dry, appears and gathers steam to a climactic finish. Soft carbonation. The intensity never gets there for me although the flavor is nice for a drier mead. ben4321 (6827) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 30, 2010

Aroma: The aroma is sweet, with some fruity, some honey, and some resiny hop notes
Appearance: Pours a clear apple juice body with minimal head
Flavor: The taste is pretty sweet as well, with a slight hop presence for some balance
Palate: The carbonation is fizzy, and the body is light and refreshing
This stuff was pretty interesting. Certainly a crisp and refreshing drink, though not my favorite style in the world, I do enjoy one of these every now and again.
Wow. The first mead I’ve ever had that smells of hops. Also the lightest alcohol mead for me as well. A very thin finish. Don’t get much hops or any really in the flavor.
