16oz can 2/12/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-40° in Snifter-Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma of hops, honey, caramel, and apple. Taste of apple, honey, hops, and sweetness. This light bodied mead is different but still tasty. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Tap. Pale golden with minimal head. Medium honey sweetness. Hops don’t mesh particularly well with the honey. Smells better than it tastes. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 17, 2007
sampled @ GABF 07. I really liked this actually. Sweet honey aroma with citrus hops. Pours very light blonde. The flavor is mildly sweet the hops balance out the sweetness nicely and give it a good hop flavor. bikesandbeers (547) - san diego, California, USA - FEB 6, 2008
sampled on tap at the San Diego Strong Ale Festival Nov 2008, an event shared with what seemed liked hundreds of ratebeerians and enjoyed mostly through a straw, since my face was a bloody mess of scabs and stitches. very light in color with a honey sweet nose. taste is very sweet citrus with some hops, but only a little. after a day of imperial stouts, BW and IIPA this was quite refreshing, but not spectactular. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - NOV 16, 2011
[Bottle] Pours a clear yellow color with no head and fizzy carbonation. Nose is mostly sweet floral honey notes with some hops mixed in. Light fruits, honey, grassy hops and citrus zest in the taste. There is some amount of a sweet/bitter clash in this mead because of the hops. The one upside is that the bitterness cut down on the honey sweetness a bit. Average mouthfeel with light alcoholic notes coming out as it warms. It’s OK.

Tasting at Savannah Bee at their Broughton St. location in Savannah. The most expensive mead of the group I tasted and the one I liked the least. Pours a clear yellow gold with a fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet honey, citrusy hops, and a bit of apple. The flavor is similar. For me the hops and honey never really mesh together. On the lighter side of medium bodied. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2014
Draft. Pours yellow with white head. Nose/taste of hops, citrus, sugar and light apple. Lighter medium body. ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 27, 2016
500ml can - $2.99 at Bullock’s Wine & Spirits in Marietta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a clear, very lightly hued, pale yellow body. No head formation.
Smell: A big splash of white wine garnished with a pair of wax lips and housing a hint of modeling putty. Very faint undercurrent of honey water. A hint of citrus, a nibble of orchard fruit.
Taste: A very light, spectral touch of honey. Slightly sweet. Mild citrus, floral hints. Modestly bitter, aided, in part, by the carbonation. Feels a bit, at times, like a fairly dry white wine. Finishes with some warmth, fairly dry and, again, a bit white wine-like.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Drinkable, yes, but not overly enjoyable. Didn’t hate it, though! PilsnerPeter (3045) - Flushing, New York, USA - FEB 2, 2010
Bottle at Rattle n Hum shared by Alex of SKI: I was drinking different beers and rated this from memory. Light golden pour. Sweet and herbal aroma, a bit buttery and biscuity- mild chamomile notes peak through. Light spritzy body. Softly sweet flavor. Honeyish, and herbal but quite buttery, especially on the back. Sub par and macro-ish. drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - NOV 8, 2010
10/26/10. Clear golden pee colored. Sweet, herbal aroma with hints of honey and citrus and distinct medicinal qualities... reminds me of a weird sweet light beer. Sweet honey flavor that lingers herbally with cat pee and... and basil? This is an odd cat.
