Not sure about the whole carbonated mead thing, it almost tastes like soda. That being said, it’s pretty good. Thinner and lighter on the palate than I’m used to for mead, but certainly drinkable nonetheless. Geokkjer (7663) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 17, 2013
On tap at Stone 17th. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of honey, some mint, fruity citrus and apple. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some apple cider notes, honey and yeast. phaleslu (10889) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 29, 2014
Guest tap at Perennial, served in a wine glass. Pours the color of white wine - clear, with no head. Notes of honey, florals, tea, lemon, and wet paint. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a vinous mouthfeel. Not much to say about this one. Very basic mead. Headbanger (4022) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 12, 2015
16oz can 2/12/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-40° in Snifter-Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma of hops, honey, caramel, and apple. Taste of apple, honey, hops, and sweetness. This light bodied mead is different but still tasty. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 16, 2015
Tap. Pale golden with minimal head. Medium honey sweetness. Hops don’t mesh particularly well with the honey. Smells better than it tastes.

Draft pour (yep, draft) at Savannah Bee Co. in Charleston SC. Poured a clear yellow color without much of a head to speak of. Aroma was light hops, mild floral notes - some earthy notes, crisp sweet honey notes. Okay. Floral hop finish. A touch too thin for me. redlight (2325) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 17, 2007
sampled @ GABF 07. I really liked this actually. Sweet honey aroma with citrus hops. Pours very light blonde. The flavor is mildly sweet the hops balance out the sweetness nicely and give it a good hop flavor. bikesandbeers (547) - san diego, California, USA - FEB 6, 2008
sampled on tap at the San Diego Strong Ale Festival Nov 2008, an event shared with what seemed liked hundreds of ratebeerians and enjoyed mostly through a straw, since my face was a bloody mess of scabs and stitches. very light in color with a honey sweet nose. taste is very sweet citrus with some hops, but only a little. after a day of imperial stouts, BW and IIPA this was quite refreshing, but not spectactular. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - NOV 16, 2011
[Bottle] Pours a clear yellow color with no head and fizzy carbonation. Nose is mostly sweet floral honey notes with some hops mixed in. Light fruits, honey, grassy hops and citrus zest in the taste. There is some amount of a sweet/bitter clash in this mead because of the hops. The one upside is that the bitterness cut down on the honey sweetness a bit. Average mouthfeel with light alcoholic notes coming out as it warms. It’s OK. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Tasting at Savannah Bee at their Broughton St. location in Savannah. The most expensive mead of the group I tasted and the one I liked the least. Pours a clear yellow gold with a fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet honey, citrusy hops, and a bit of apple. The flavor is similar. For me the hops and honey never really mesh together. On the lighter side of medium bodied.
