750 ml. swing top bottle, shared with Gabe. Pours a minimal, short lived head, over a clear straw (SRM 2) effervescent body........nose is heavy floral honey, mild hints of apricot.......taste is heavily honey sweet, with light spice notes, mild subtle hints of apricot, becoming drier on the finish......mouth feel, light body, mild alcohol, high carbonation, slight astringency. The honey is a bit too dominant, and more apparent apricot would be welcome. BJCP 6/3/11/4/6

Bottle pour at Skep & Skein, pours a hazy blonde with a tiny white head. Nose brings out moderate honey sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with a light wild quality that dries it out just enough. Very honey-ish. Solid but nothing amazing.

Really light yellow. Nearly clear. Sweet. Subtle carbonation. Nice safe drinkable mead.

(draft @ Avenue Pub - New Orleans, LA) Clear gold pour with a soapy white head. Very sweet aroma with lots of apricots present. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a lot of honey and apricot. Dry finish.

16oz can 2/7/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-38° in Snifter-Pours a clear light golden with a small white ring for a head. Aroma of honey and champagne. Taste of honey, champagne, and slight apricot. This light bodied beverage is not bad.

Just average, nothing bad, nothing outlandish either..the Sam Adams of meads. Some apricot and peach.Light and that all I got to say about that.

slowrunner77 (12466) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2014
Decent fruity aroma, apples and tart apricot, but the rest falls a little short. Nothing bad, but not worth the premium mead costs...

kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - JUL 25, 2014
Very clear. Almost like water. No head. No aroma so to speak. Tastes like pear juice with about 2% alcohol. If its h8... wow, I can believe that. Its very enjoyable.
