This has the chemical smell that I hate in some meads, but the taste has no traces of chemicals. Honey, a strong booziness. It’s slightly harsh, it could probably use another year to age and mellow out, but still decent nonetheless.

Sampled at the Manitou Wine Festival. Crisp apple, wildflower honey, and light spice. Very sweet, with a bit of balance. This is a pretty tasty, standard mead.

Bottle @ Redstone. Clear yellow pour. Honey, booze, and a touch of spice on the nose. Some sugar, yeast, and flowers as well. Flavors of honey, spice, and caramel. Aspirin bitterness on the finish. A bit of flowers and spice to it as well.
