Draught @ The Murderers, 2-8 Timber Hill, Norwich, Norfolk, England NR1 3LB.
[ As Redwell Pale Ale ].
Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, palemalt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, citrus, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Cask, Mariners Great Yarmouth. Dark golden /Light amber appearance with off white thin head. Malt, bready and light citrus nose. As you get down you start to pick up a rose petals fragrance. Tastes okay, it’s an American Pale Ale with a taste of water melon and a hint of citrus. Mildly refreshing and easy drinking, but slightly quirky and not quite robust or strong and flavoursome enough for my liking as a pale ale (try Grain Brewery’s Pale for a bench mark) should be . There are much better APA’S out there, but it beats some of the piss poor "all tastes the same" micro brewery offerings available. Keg at the Norwich Tap House, 16/02/17.
Clear golden with a decent white head.
Nose is light bread, tangerine, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises orange peel, melon, lemon rind, straw, toasted malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light dose of hop bitterness.
Drinkable but pedestrian for the style in this day and age.

Keg tap at Butch Annie’s. Golden brown, clear with visible carbonation but not much head. Pear drops, grapefruit and a hint of pine in the aroma. Simple but lovely. Balanced bittersweet in the finish with citrus hops to the fore. Some gummy resin in the aftertaste. Fuller body than would be expected. Very nice for the ABV. sm89walt (2064) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2016

A pub on Middlesex St on 10/3/2016. Keg.
Tasted like a poor apa. Lots of hey and soft malts. Wasn’t kept too well by the bar staff. Really just a a bland cold industrial-macro style APA. Was disappointed and will need to have again. Generally very bland. Sorry that I can’t find the venue.
