(cask) pours a clear golden colour with a creamy white head. aroma of barnyard, lemon peel, gooseberries and yeast, with a hint of bread dough. flavour is mostly the same, with a hint of chestnuts, straw and grass. light-bodied with very soft carbonation. jamestulloch (4426) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 18, 2013
Aroma: Quite flabby - smells like overripe apples. Quite earthy and tangy (almost sour).

Appearance: Clear golden body with a thick white cap. No visible carbonation. Excellent lacing.
Taste: Soft and fruity, certainly better than the aroma. Grassy with hints of boiled vegetables.
Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.
Overall: An unusual beer, and not in a good way. It just doesn’t taste fresh and bright. I’e had better from Redwillow.
