Cask at the Craft. Clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Light palate, fairly dry. Nice malts - a light presence but with dark characteristics and a whisper of smoke. Mild but juicy hops that are a little orange - lemon citrus. Finishes dry with a mildy smoky malt aftertaste.
cask at the magnet stockport ... deep brown ... thin tan head ... soft toffee malts ... over sweet toffee malts ... creamy caramel ... toffee malts ... little oversweet Leighton (21299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2012
Cask at The Duke of Wellington, London. Pours clear brown with almost no head. Smells like cider, seriously. Light sweet flavor with some dirt, apple, leaves. Light in body, soft in carbonation. Moderately sweet finish with some berries, soggy bread, light leather. The poor condition of this beer really hurts.
