COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottled; Regular.

A surprisingly approachable smoked porter, velvet smooth with a robust malt backbone. This is infused with Chipotles to give even more smokiness and a subtle hint of heat, a real winter warmer.

More roasty and toasty than smoked, though you do get a little bit in the background. Chipotles come through nicely to give a warm spice and a tiny bite. Light/medium bod, creamy mouthfeel.

Can from Ales By Mail. Pours clear deep red/brown with a big creamy beige head. Aroma of dark malts, weak trace of chili, inviting aroma. Taste is complex dark malts, weak smoked with an nice light chilli burn at the finish, me like

Can 330ml (AbM, BB 12/2017)
Dark brown colour, tiny beige head. Smokey and perfumic nose. Light to medium-bodied. Light smoke, toasted malts, some cocoa sweetness. Light Chipotle burn arrives in the aftertaste. Ok.

ASPETTO: nera impenetrabile, schiuma beige, abbastanza abbondante, fine e persistente. AROMA: soprattutto cacao e affumicato. GUSTO: apre con una forte liquirizia e cacao, per poi evolvere in un piacevolissimo tostato. Nel retrogusto emerge il piccante del chipotles. Corpo e carbonizzazione media. Birra veramente equilibrata, saporita, interessante e ben fatta!

Cask Half Pint at Craft Beer Co, Clapham, London in March 2014 - Very Dark Brown in colour. Slight off-white head. Malty; light roasty malts, caramel, slight smoke, coffee, some chocolate. Fruity; dark fruits, raisins. Hoppy; slight hop bitterness. Sweetish roast malty fruity and lightly smoked throughout. Very drinkable. Liked this. Nice lightly Smoked Porter! (2014-03-15)

Butelka 500ml z Oddbins Liverpool. Czarny kolor. Piana bezowa lekko palona-obfita szybko redukuje sie do zera. Karbonacja mala do sredniej. W aromacie ciemne palone slody "wedzonka" nuty czekoladowe. W smaku slodkawe poczatkowo pozniej uderza pieprzowa nuta z wedzonym akcentem. Dodatkowo czekolada slody i czarna porzeczka. Niezly lecz troche slaby.

Half Pint on keg at Cheltenham Real Ale Festival. Pours a dark brown without any head. Smoky and peppery aromas. Taste is strongly peppery immediately, can taste the booziness as well, hits the throat hard. Pepper and smoke dominate a bit.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, darkest brown colour with huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous-beige head. Smoky, fleshy, dark malty aroma, dirty-smoky-dusty and peppery hints of chipotle, dark chocolate. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, notes of liquorice, tar, hints of dark chocolate, mildly smoky and peppery-spicy overtones; slightly too lively carbonation.
