Very floral and tasty. Long flavour. Caramel notes for a balanced finish. Very drinkable. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Growler @ RBSG 2015. Thanks, Ron. Orange beer with some white foam. A lot of herbal and woody hops. A touch of orange marmalade, some toasted bread, and grapefruit. Pretty heavy pine bitterness on the flavor, though a bit more caramel malt sweetness than I’d care for. Some nice citrusy hops, light herbs, and a bit of toasted grains. Not bad. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - APR 12, 2014
On draft at BeerCraft. Pours amber with a white head. Resin, pine, grapefruit, fruity hop notes. Very tasty IPA.

On tap at Beercraft. Pours dark tangerine with a light khaki head. Aroma is candied orange with a sort of dusty old graininess. Flavor is pretty similar but there’s a strong soapiness that puts me off. mcberko (18056) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 22, 2013
On tap at Redwood Curtain Brewing, pours a cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out juicy citrusy hops, resin, and just enough malt to back. Flavour is similar, bringing out juicy citrusy hops as the main quality. Just enough malt in the profile to be balanced. Juicy, citrusy and hoppy, leaving a medium astringency. Great IPA.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was of grapefruit and pine. The taste was of citrus, pine and some tropical fruits. The finish was a little dry and bitter and very well done. Strykzone (7420) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Sampled at ESBLS. Half growler from Hayduke. Some leaked during transit. Some haze in the golden orange beer. No foam. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas. The flavor begins with citrus but it is not bitter. Carbonation might have suffered. That bitterness quickly grows and becomes big. A lot of fruit is tasted. Malts are pale and no caramel is noted. The hops become more floral. I like it. bhensonb (15326) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 5, 2013
Tap at The Sea Grill in Eureka, CA. Pours light amber with a slight head. Resin aroma. Med body. Flavor is resin plus a different sort of flavor. Gets fruity. Finishes nicely fruity and bitter. madpaddy (1) - Arcata, California, USA - JUL 7, 2013 does not count
Wonderful local IPA in the heart of IPA heaven. Managed to stand out in well-crafted but saturated market. Starts crisp and sweet without being too syrup-y. Quenches but leaves you happy and wanting more. epiphyte707 (67) - eureka, California, USA - NOV 15, 2012
On tap (isn’t available in bottles), pours amber with nice soapy suds, smells of fir trees, and sweetness. Tastes like pine cones, chronic, and beautiful bitterness. Great hop presence and all around body.
