Draft, on premises. Light wheaty taste, with a very pale color. Some hoppiness starts to show through toward the end. I’ll call it middlin’ to good.
Almost no aroma. Golden color with minimal head. Thin palate with a hint of sweetness. Still pretty tasty for style. Tap at brewery. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - DEC 11, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists of mild cereal notes with a hint of grass. It’s a transparent gold with a small white head that fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. There is some sporadic webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of of mild cereal/grain sweetness. The finish has light grass. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, there’s nothing offensive and nothing exciting. It’s a solid summer lawn mower beer. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2015
On tap at Redood. Poured a yellow color with a small sized head. Grainy with some sweetness. chucklemation (1624) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - APR 8, 2015
Pours a pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is fruit, grass, and bread. Flavor is sweet fruit and bread. Has a nice, crisp finish. Got better as it warmed up. While it was similar to Redwood’s other lagers, I enjoyed it. Ferris (15013) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 5, 2015
Draft - Light sweet grains. Clear gold with a decent white head. Grainy, light Skunky vegative notes. Not that great.

Tap sample. Poured clear golden color with a medium frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of bready malt. Flavor of bready malt, straw, grainy malts. Just a plain Kolsch, not very exciting, just ok.

Growler from brewpub, crisp and refreshing. Very thin with no lace but overall seems like a great summertime brew. Dogbrick (12932) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 10, 2006
Sample at the brewpub: Clear gold color with some rising bubbles. Thin ivory head that dissipates slowly and sticky patches of lacing. The aroma is mildly hoppy and malty. Light, clean body with sweet malt and hops flavors. Not bad overall.
