2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Small can. Murky brown body, medium head. Malty and raisiny aroma. Medium bitter malty taste with dark fruity overtones. A bit sterile. Alcohol becomes apparent in the finish.
28-06-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Denemarken). The beer looks nice. I like it. The color of the beer is a nice dark amber/coppery brown. The beer has a nice haziness. On top one of the longest lasting layers of foam is formed. The nice soft and light brown foam remains present, even after a lot of minutes. Neat.
The smell of the beer is nice. I smell a nice sweet maltiness at first. The malt aromas contains something biscuity and I also smell a tiny sweet fruity touch. Nice. There is also a tiny spicy touch; I smell some anise and liquorice. Nice with the rather sweet malts. Hops aren’t very strong, but they do give a nice slight bitter touch to the beer.
The taste of the beer is nice to. Nice sweet malts, a touch of almond pie, nice alcohol and a bitter hop taste. Sweet malts and bitter hops are well balanced. The taste is not very complex, but it is very nice. Good one.
The palate of the beer is average. Medium-full body, smooth and medium carbonation. The finish is nice and contains nice almond pie, alcohol and a bitter hop touch. At the end of the race, a very nice beer. jookos (6743) - FINLAND - MAY 9, 2017
Bottle, thx airbnb hosts! Deep ambery clear. Malty slight metallic herby nose. Light dark bready, dusty. Med bodied, dry chocolate, clean, bit bland. Some cinnamon, spices. Bit bland, sorta bulk feeling. Clean, easy though.wlf (568) - DENMARK - APR 9, 2017

Dark brown with a nice reddish shine and a small slightly off-white head; aroma is malty sweet and quite spicy; taste is high in sweetness, a lot of spiciness and a little bitterness; texture is creamy with medium to high carbonation HarborMountainBrewing (3) - Nordborg, DENMARK - MAR 14, 2017 does not count
This is an Amber, not really a brown ale. For my taste, this beer is overly spicy with the hop character so the malts don´t shine. What I can taste of the malts isn’t impressive either. I had high hopes for this beer but for my palate, it was a let down. AVLarsen (163) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2017
Bottle. Sweet and malty but too much. Must be ice cold. Only slightly bitter. Best beer out of this brewery.

Almost mainstream. Used to be a big deal, but this is a pale reflection of what a good brown ale can be. It’s somewhat watery and with too much carbonation and even sligthly metallic. Some malty sweetness. Guruhso (593) - Grindsted, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2016
Bottle. Clear light brown with small head. Aroma of toasted, caramel and overriped fruits. Heavy yeasty notes. Light notes of herbal hops. Starts sweet and finish light bitter. Light watery. Easy drinkable. An old-time classic... FunkyF (1171) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUL 14, 2016
