Dry, crisp and very refreshing! For the quantity (32oz) and the price ($3) this beer was an excellent choice for these college football bowl games! Not ’adjunct-y’ at all!!! ronaldtheriot (1995) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - DEC 11, 2011
Regia Extra has a medium, white head, a decent amount of lacing, a clear, yellow appearance, and some tiny particles floating about. The aroma is of sweet bread and a hop zing. Taste is of lightly-toasted barley malt, sweetness, cracker, grass, and it is balanced with a nice hop bite. Moutfeel is light to medium, and Regia Extra finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and mostly dry. This is a delicious beer.

This beer isn’t nearly as bad as many of the malt liquors it’s grouped with. Sure, it’s light and pretty bland but for the price and volume its an amazing deal. I’m pretty particular about beer like most on ratebeer and I admit that Regia Extra isn’t a world class beer, but taking everything into consideration my overall score for this beer is pretty high. If you find it available and are looking for volume at that particular time it is definitely worth a try. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 31, 2011
TPSA. Pours pale gold with very little head. Not much nose to it at all -- what there was was very light roast and adjunct. Tastes sweet with a little hops bitterness; it’s not bad, it’s just not any different from dozens of others LULs. (Local Ubiquitous Lager). If you were hot and it was very cold, it would work. cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Bottle @ home. Light straw yellow appearance with a small white head. Sweet pale malty lager, somewhat grainy nose. Smooth, light grainy, bland pale malty flavor. Pretty bland, flavorless beer but easy drinking.

It’s pretty clear, doesn’t really smell like anything too much. It’s not offensive, so that’s something. Mostly rice and sweet cover up, with alcohol in there to hit that part of the flavour. Cole (967) - , Alberta, CANADA - FEB 19, 2011
Pours piss yellow and comes from a big jug. shitty corn and filler aroma. light and generally unappealing. This beer beer is boring and shitty. Not the worst plae lager Ive had this week. but its pretty fucking bad. Norton (333) - Southside, Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 24, 2011
Bottle Found this in a large bottle ($2.99 for 32 oz) at the local Latin American-influenced Sunoco station close to my home. Pours nice gold, with hefty head. Smell and lacing reminds me of "old school" Schlitz or something my parents drank in 70’s. Decent malt flavor. Honestly nothing bad about this beer. I will get it again. Great drinker for football Sundays. Balanced carbonation. A pleasant surprise! Dfalken (45) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - DEC 28, 2010
Actually the better (can’t say best for any of ILC’s products) beer La Constancia makes, yet they market it as the cheapest, go figure. Some hop flavor and aroma that helps disguise the corn. tennessejed420 (940) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 14, 2010
from a bottle at a mexican / el salvadorian restaurant. Not expecting to much from this type of beer, but it is not horrible. No offensive aromas or flavors, just a bland watery lager, and although blandness is uninteresting, it was good to wash down my food with and was not a disappointment. Beats the hell out of modelo, dos xx green label, and some other south american beers. Not a bad choice if you’re out eating.
