Not horrible; in fact there's an odd endearing earthiness from somewhere... The quart bottles are practically made for homebrewers. AWMiller (512) - Mansfield, Texas, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Dry, crisp and very refreshing! For the quantity (32oz) and the price ($3) this beer was an excellent choice for these college football bowl games! Not ’adjunct-y’ at all!!! TheHulk (486) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 19, 2011
It’s pretty clear, doesn’t really smell like anything too much. It’s not offensive, so that’s something. Mostly rice and sweet cover up, with alcohol in there to hit that part of the flavour. 6ROW (473) - corpus christi, Texas, USA - MAR 14, 2010
yellow pour with a small white head, standard lager beer taste and aroma. this is one more to try in the home land. MrRain (472) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 21, 2008
agree with dins, not bad, not good, just a lager. I good foreign beer for AB and Miller fans.

A cheap beer that will do if you do not have any other choice. There is no taste at all so at least you quench your thirst on a hot sunny day. BeerAteHer (384) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - APR 23, 2005
Got this because of the unique bottle shape and the fact that I’ve never had a beer from El Salvador. Well, if they’re like this then I never will AGAIN! Poor, sickly appearance -- a very weak pee color and a large head that disappears almost immediately (many drainpours seem to share the latter characteristic). Brown bottle, nevertheless manages to hold a great deal of skunk (though not overwhelming) in the flavor and the aroma. Essentially, flavor and aroma differ little from each other: some skunk, some cheap malt, some cheap tobacco papers. Finished a little more than 1/2 and had to throw the rest out. Bottle Found this in a large bottle ($2.99 for 32 oz) at the local Latin American-influenced Sunoco station close to my home. Pours nice gold, with hefty head. Smell and lacing reminds me of "old school" Schlitz or something my parents drank in 70’s. Decent malt flavor. Honestly nothing bad about this beer. I will get it again. Great drinker for football Sundays. Balanced carbonation. A pleasant surprise! ChrisPants (317) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 20, 2004
Despite appearances, this is not a beer for drinking on a warm day. This is a beer for washing your car with. The aroma is redolent of urea and warm skunk. The palate is bitter with no redeeming qualities of flavor. The bottle may look cool, but I recommend passing on this one and just buying a Colt 45 or an OE if you’re looking for volume. dins (266) - Texas, USA - DEC 3, 2001
