32 oz bottle. (Buford Highway Farmerís Market) Atlanta, GA.shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 12, 2006
Clear yellow golden colour with a small white head.
Sweet malt in the aroma.
The flavour is sweet malt, cardboard and mild grassy hops. Bad beer. But itís a country tick. Thanks!
1 liter bottle. Light corn malt aroma. Light yellow color with small head. Barely detectable corn malt flavor with no body at all - Absolutely needs a lime wedge - This is just barely different from mineral water but at the very least, there are no bad flavors and would be a good thirst quencher. hopscotch (11051) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2004
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2005 Crystal clear, extremely light yellow lager with a large, frothy, white head... gone like a flash of black gun powder. Leaves an eery, weeping, drippy lace. The aroma and flavor are fairly nondescript, but not at all offensive. Lightly sweet. Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish. Itís HOT in El Salvador, right? Maybe I would have enjoyed this pale lager more if it were hot and humid in the house instead of crisp and cool thanks to a late Summer, early morning breeze whisping in through open windows... or not. adnielsen (10605) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Bottle @ home. Light straw yellow appearance with a small white head. Sweet pale malty lager, somewhat grainy nose. Smooth, light grainy, bland pale malty flavor. Pretty bland, flavorless beer but easy drinking. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 11, 2012
32oz. Clear straw pour with larger white foam with nice stickier lace. Sweet nose with candied pineapple. Taste is suddy, detergent and mildly soapy with cardboard finish. Poor overall but not offensive thankfully.

Ah, El Salvador... whereíve you been all my life. My first pale lager as a US resident and it doesnít disappoint. Pale straw colour, thick creamy white head. Aroma of straw, grass, and latex paint. Flavour is fairly watery, thin lager malt, grass and hay hoppiness and a decidedly vegetal sweetness. Reminds me of every beer I drank in Fiji. Thanks for reminding me of why I donít drink Central American beer. blipp (9172) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 23, 2010
Bottle. Pours light gold with a white head. Sweetish malty aroma with some light grainy notes. Similar flavor. Not completely off, but still pretty gross. gunnar (9019) - Sandnes, NORWAY - NOV 20, 2014
RBHD Tasting. Pours clear straw colored with a small white head. Aroma of sweet corn, mild caramel. Taste is light sweet with a dry finish, herbs and spices if I stretch my imagination. Clean dry mouthfeel.

"there’s nothing like an unfurnished basement for pure comfort" ... Pretty crispy for a lager, some low sparse lacing .. smells like old corn husks and maybe some sock ... a strange cheaper carta blanca clone ... marble rocks .. run of the mill... be careful with this, it put me over the edge... nimbleprop (8297) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 27, 2012
Big 40oz bottle pours a totally clear, yellow with some cloudy white head. Nose is corn, honey, straw. Flavor is watered down straw, honey, yellow corn, yeast, white bread. Watery finish. Iíve had worse swill.
