Bottle. 5.3% though, not 4.3%. Pretty weak, and watery. Skunky, and well all together not great.

Bottle from a pretty chill Latin American food market located next to Mekong. The pour’s extremely light gold, champagne-like in appearance. The nose certainly can’t be confused for champagne. Loads of paper and creamed corn. Unmistakable developing-world pale lager notes. The taste is pretty skunky. Not fun. Sugared bread. Bizzarely thick. Cardboard on the finish. Pretty nasty. Light body, weirdly oily. Super fizzy. Overall, extremely poor.

Big industrial janitorial strength cleaner looking bottle - at least it’s brown! The pour is translucent with a thin, soapy white head. Aroma is not skunky, not much there at all, a faint trace of wet paper bagness. Flavor is pretty much nonexistent as well, goes down very smooth on this hot October day working in the yard actually - for that I am grateful. Finish is just a bit metallic, but overall, a notch above the other offerings from this South American behemoth.

Bottle thanks to Fratto. Pours with an ultra pale yellow body and no head. Aroma of corn and grass. Taste is watery with corn and surprisingly unoffensive. A bit of acetaldehyde in the finish. Dry, thin mouthfeel.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma, notes of newmown grass and candy. Sweetish flavour first, drier cardboard notes in the finish, hardly any bittering hops.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain), with a strong note of DMS, some solvent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. The nasty industrial aroma is about the best thing it has going for it.

Generously shared by TheBeerCellar2: Pours a very pale white wine color with a thin ring of white head. Mild corn and grape aroma. Fizzy, watery body has a very mild sweetness and a thin, semi-dry finish. No off-flavors, but hardly anything here to taste. I guess this is one more country I have tried.

mansquito (6904) - Nueva York, New York, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Total Wine & More, Chantilly 32oz ($3): Pours a very pale colour with barely any head. Aroma is extremely light. As someone else has pointed out, this does not smell like adjuncts. Taste is really light but completely inoffensive. This is an easily chuggable brew. Not bad.

Hay and corn aroma. Clear yellow, thick white head, good lacing. Creamy mouthfeel. Relatively flavorless aside from a bit of corn. A fairly decent offering from south of the border.
