Grima (2499) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - FEB 10, 2012
Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 23, 2011
Bottled 50cl. Ordered from www.bierzwerg.de. Clear amber colored. Creamy mountainous light beige head. Nice hop profile. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Rather pleasant.

BeerViking (4950) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2011
50cl bottle from Germany. Dark amber with a fine off-white head. Dark bread, caramel and a little peach on the nose, the palate brings spice, toffee, a little treacle, some dark fruit, grassy hops and then a dry bitter finish with hints of roast coffee. Very nice.

TAR (2776) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Draught at Hütt’n, Nurnberg: Deep rust. Enduring white cap of foam. Charmingly rustic nose of deeply earthy malt, spicy hops (caraway, aniseed), toffee, and subdued esters of hard peach candy. Tightly packed carbonation. Somewhat watery. Flavors unravel with sassy licorice-tinged hops kissed with a stiff mineralic clench and suggestive plumlike fruitiness. Earthy malt pushes forth with a dainty balancing bitterness reminiscent of fallen leaves, bread crust, and unsweetened chocolate. Plum teeters on the verge of becoming medicinal and overripe in its sweetness, though a drying flash of cocoa disperses much of this. While the malt is not particularly deep, it is exceptionally clean, with primary emphasis on the vividly defined earthiness. Even an intriguing note of chocolate wafer teases from the depths. Closes with background toffee-covered chocolate and a dry malt edge which is accentuated by a tardy emergence of slick, ripe peach fused with a cleansing grassy, anise-tinged hop bitterness. This is a superbly clean, quaffable lager with exemplary malt extraction. Could happily drink this stuff all day.

oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2011
Pours a deep dark brown. Aromas of roasted malts, smoke, and hints of fruit. Flavors of the roasted malts, some fruit, with a coffee aftertaste.

jfb (6509) - GERMANY - SEP 29, 2011
(bottle) pours a clear copper colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of roasted malts, caramel, grass and marshmallow, with a hint of floral hops. flavour is mostly the same, with a hint of kidney beans and powdered sugar. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Aromareich, schmackhaft. Test vom 14.11.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

downender (8729) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2011
At Hütt’n, Nurnberg 9/07/2011. Amber in colour with a decent white head. Aroma of bready malts, hay and caramel with a slight herbal edge. Flavour had more sweet malts, with a hint of roastiness and dryish finish. Good.

Hermod (8123) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUN 30, 2011
50cl bottle. Poured cola brown with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt with some herbal notes as well. Flavour is caramel malt, some roastedness also. Slightly sweet, low bitterness. Quite enjoyable actually.

fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 27, 2011
Bottle from Markgrafen, Bamberg
Amber-chestnut color; small head. If the aroma, with light cereals and caramel, lets hope for something, the flavor disappoints, with a light caramel, weak body, dry mouthfeel, light vegetables feeling, medium-low bitterness.
