Pours clear, amber colir, medium head. Malty, earthy, bready, medium body and carbonation. I Like it. beerstar88 (587) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 11, 2017
Es ist ein helles Lagerbier, dass anfangs süsslich malzig schmeckt, gefolgt von einer sehr dezenten Hopfennote. _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 24, 2016
Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head that leaves some sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty and slightly floral with crackers, white bread, hay, minerals, lemon peal and hints of honey. taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter, slightly malty and slightly floral. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet with bready malts and floral honey. Solid but doesn’t quite pop. massingasetta (759) - München, GERMANY - JUN 4, 2015
The remarkable part of this beer is in the naming. It is a Landbier and a "Deer"-Beer and maybe also a Kellerbier or just a Helle? I would almost go into the Helle category, as this beer does not taste wise hit the note of slight bitternes you would expect in a Unfiltriertes beer. Not a beer without charm, but slightly unremarkable in taste. ThirstyBird (2967) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2014
Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. the smell is hay, grass, mild malt. The taste is as it smells with a dry crisp finish. Light+ body with a tick below carbonation level and structure. A nice beer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit. TAR (2776) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Numerous samples from both tap and bottle over the years: Crystal clear golden yellow. Fragmented fine-bubbled white foam. Clean, bright, lemony aromas are lined with minerals, candyish yeast, nectar and cracker dough. Quite perfumey. Firm and snug carbonation. Zesty, lemony, spicily herbaceous and woody with a savory oily succulence, initially. Polished vanilla wafer cookie and hay dust maltiness graces the palate with pleasurable softness. Candyish yeast pokes through to remind you that it’s soul originates from Franconia. Appetizing mineral-laced briskness scrubs the palate as a pronounced bite of finespun toastiness provides contrasting firmness alongside fresh baguette flavors and bouncy new-mown hay suggestions. Quite the dazzling interplay of zestful hops and mouthwatering minerals. Lean and well-attenuated yet fully malty finish displays toasty accents which beautiful highlight the stiffly woody and herbal hop punch and equally flavorsome nectarlike elegance. Immaculately clean and focused, and deceptively simple as a result. Really hones in on a few elements and does it extremely well. Not particularly astonishing, but nevertheless it’s such a pure delight to quaff beer this clean and characterful. 3fourths (9351) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 13, 2013
It’s nice to see that the bottles perform consistently favorably as it does from tap, which is atypical for kellerbier (probably due to higher filtration in this case).
Draft at Fränkisches Bierfest in Nürnberg.Ernest (7746) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Brilliantly clear gold and effervescent body. Tall white head. Strong herbal/ lemon splat hop nose. Soft malt, quenching acid, clean of flaws. Fruity, floral, lemon oil finish. Wonderfully balanced and without any perceivable problems. Only suffers from it’s one-dimensionality.
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted bread), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), with light notes of minerals and honey.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Quite delightful...clean, balanced, very quaffable. Doesn’t look like much, and the mouthfeel is kinda light, but when you’re weeding through a bunch of diacetyl-ridden or husky examples, it’s a real treasure to find a brewer that can at least make a good, clean beer.
