Quack-Duck (9486) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2008
bottle. Clear, perhaps slightly hazy, golden-brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty-fruity nose, strangely reminding me of Kölsch. Malty with some aromatic hops and a top-fermenting touch. Despite the flavours of roasted malt and caramel this beer reminds me of Kölsch. Interesting and rather quaffable. BeerBiker (1415) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 13, 2008
[Bottle from Bamberg.] Good mainstream landbier which can be swallowed for hours. Caramel, straw, some bitterness and freshness. imdownthepub (15129) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2008
Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml from REAL Supermarket, Bamberg. Pale gold, carbonisation, short head. Disapointingly thin and lemonade like, really pronounced wet paper note with a touch of aspartame sweetness. Perhaps a slight hop note, with a malty bitterness. Not very good. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2008
Light golden with an OK head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and grass, but is rather weak. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of caramel malt, straw, grass and a light bitterness. Rather uncomplicated and very average. MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - FEB 24, 2008
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized blond foamy head. Sweet mmalty and flowery and fruity (citrus) hops aroma. Sweet flavour with a light but balancing bitterness, light bodied with a crispy carbonation. Soft malty, subtle fruity taste with a quite dry and moderately bitter finish with a pleasant hoppy blend. Enjoyable session beer (16.02.08).

Bottle 0,5ltr bought in Bamberg: Not so good Franconian to watery, not so sweet and hoppy at all. downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2007
Bottle from Landbierparadies, Nurnberg. Amber with a moderate, off-white head. Aroma was of red fruit, caramel and grassy hops. Flavour was malty before a hoppy, dry finish. Good. pivnizub (10763) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 18, 2005
Bottle: Sweet malty and distinctive floral hoppy nose; moderate, dry bitter flavour; dry bitter-aromatic finish with a touch of pale malts, lingering; a good, well hopped Bier....... Bavarianbeer77 (53) - München, GERMANY - DEC 10, 2005
Bright blond colour, slight head, minimal hoppy flavor, pilslike influences, light but hard body, slightly tinny finish. -- 14.03.04 bierkoning (13596) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2004
Bottle, bought at the brewery. Only a slight hoparoma and also a slight hopflavor, just a bit grassy. Fairly low on aroma and flavor, by the way. The maltiness is there, but less as in other Franconian lagers.
