presario (4903) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 30, 2011
Bottle. Dirty brown-copper-amber with a thick lasting foam that settles into a clumpy thick velvet. Belgian spice cake aroma with yeast background. Soft mouthfeel. Intriguing blend of spice, yeast and light alcohol. Very hard to believe that it is 9.5%, it is just so balanced. Some chocolate and a hint of molasses come out as it warms. Like drinking a spiced chocolate cookie.

Dark amber and hazy. Has an off-white head, lasting. Heavy malty aroma, dark bread, yeasty, faint pepper, lactic acid, nice. Flavor starts heavy sweet, and finish moderate bitter. Creamy texture and lively carbonation.

Birra ben fatta e ben bilanciata. Pur essendo una birra corposa e con un tasso alcolico piuttosto alto si lascia bere bene, sia con piatti di carne saporiti, sia da sola.
