Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 8, 2010
Bottle: Big off white foamy head, disappears slow. A dark orange to reddish brown beer. Smell fruit, apple, mango, yeast, malts, spices and some caramel. Taste is very well balanced mix of: fruit, wine, sweet, light sour, malts, spices. More bitter, malty and woody to the end. Low carbo. Very well balanced!

Hazy brown beer with a huge off white creamy head, aroma is sweet and slightly Hefeweizen like. Taste is malty with a slight spicy/roasty finish.

DeanF (2469) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 3, 2010
Pours with a huge beige head and a muddy brown colour, plenty of carbonation. Aroma is a nice mix of malts, hops, and alcohol in a good blend. Taste is heavy on the malts with a heavy alcohol finish. Surprisingly nice mouthfeel for such a heavy brew.

330ml from IPB
Appearance : Deep amber with big foamy and creamy brown head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Spicy and yeasty. Slightly earthy and mineral with light notes of banana. Quite nutty. Light roasty/caramel/bready all mixed up together... Caramel gets more up front as it warms up.
Taste : Yeasty and spicy. Some caramel. Finish is spicy and slightly bitter. Rather warm and dry. Notes of banana on the finish.
Overall : Get better as it warms up. Nice banana and caramel notes on the nose. Quite complex. Not much alcohol. soft carbonation makes it quite drinkable despite the high abv. At first I thought it was an avereage beer but it really gets better as I’m drinking it. Quite spicy for my taste but I think it goes well with this beer. Awesome nose. Great sweet finish with a bitter backbone. Reminds me a bit of the Abbaye des Rocs Triple Impériale which I liked a lot too.

jaghana (6107) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - AUG 17, 2010
Bottle 33cl. A brown ale with huge head. Smell is grassy, hay and very yeast like. This very sweet beer has spicy notes, old vibe notes, body is medium to high, finish is dry and tartric. Small acidity, and metallic notes, quite yeasty. Not bad but nit really balanced.

Habanero (4716) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2010
Bottled. Pours hazy and deep amber with a creamy, mostly lasting, off-white head. Fair lacings. Soft carbonation. Nose of roasted malt, yeast and with hop notes. Medium sweet flavour with light roasted malt, bread and caramel. Medium bodied, Oily texture. More dry and slightly bitter finish with some alcohol. OK.

bottle @home, nice brown color with a white head, aroma of coffee and roast. alcohol very well masked. an enjoyable beer.

KyotoLefty (10311) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 3, 2010
Medium brown color with orange and a high, fine, pillowy head. Aroma of pears, caramel, plums. Rich sweet flavor with a tangy edge. Fruity, slightly aged and oxidized, with spicy cake and a strongly hoppy, bitter, even astringent finish. Very minerally as well. Rather light body. Tasty and challenging, though not spectacular.
