Troebel bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en krachtig met sporen van zoethout, caramel en anijs.

Bottle at home. Pours a red-brown colour with a dense off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, sweet rich fruit and bready yeast. Sweet to start, then gently bitter. Tastes of dark fruits, sweet sappy malt and spice. Rich mouthfeel, not syrupy with a hint of warming booze. Great with chocolate. An excellent winter warmer of a beer.

330 ml bottle. Clear reddish golden body with a big off-white head. Aroma has sweetish malt, caramel and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, dry fruit, hint of honey, slightly harsh bitterness and mild, warming alcohol. Fine body and decent aftertaste. OK, but a bit too much on the sweet side for my taste.

pours murky brown colour with an ample creamy head and little lacing. yeasty spicy aroma, some caramel and berries as well. fresh, slightly sour, not overtly sweet taste. apples, ripe figs. semidry slightly bitter finish. alcohol is not too noticeable despite 9.5% abv. nice.

Bottle from Auchan Market, Luxembourg City!
Pours muddy brown with a high off-white head. Aroma has caramel, toffee, brown sugar and nuts. Taste of sweet caramel and brown sugar, as well as nutty and roasty notes. Some spicy belgian yeast in the background. Finish is yeasty, spicy and slight perfumey.

a decent BSA. Malt and yeast forward with caramel and fruity bubble gumbeing the main players. Overcarbonation takes away a little.

Hazy dark amber, stable offwhite froth. Caramel and dried fruit aroma, rather light. Flavour is sweet with caramel, dried fruit, some spicy yeast and well balanced alcohol. Decent.

Coppery red pour with a one finger sudsy tan head that leaves nice lacing. Earthy and grassy hops, candi sugar, caramel, some dark fruits in the aroma. The taste is very grassy for the style, caramel, a bit of plum. Apart from the strong grassy hops, it tastes watery for a 9.5% ABV brew. Quite disappointing, I much preferred the Reinaert Tripel.
