I am not the most well versed in the style, but I feel like this is how it should be. What is it about this style that makes everyone think of a hot Summer’s day? I don’t get it. I got lots of vegetable throughout this beast.....celery, mild earthiness and some berries. It tied in well to a refreshing hop finish. Not bad folks.

Draft. Golden pour. Aroma and taste of grainy malt, fresh bitters, herbs and a bitter grassy . Typical, but nice.

luttonm (6550) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 31, 2017
Bottle in Seattle. White fluffy head, bright clear gold body. Aroma of cardboard and grass, some sweet bready yeast as well. Intriguing mix of flavors on body, remains quite dry throughout with honey and cardboard notes. Dry grass, golden character, some fruits and light ester. Dry bitter finish, with some banana to boot. Fair.

0,33 l Flasche aus real Getränkemarkt in Köln Deutz. Orangegold klar mit klener, schnell abfallender Schaumkrone. In der Nase intensiv modrig, Brot, Teig. Im Geschmack ähnlich, eher mild herber Abgang

Served on tap. Crystal clear straw-golden colour. Thick lasting white foam. Slightly herbal tending towards citrusy aroma. Slightly malty smooth flavour well balanced by the low-bitterness. The low body, the low carbonation and the 4.8% Abv make it a refreshing beer. A milestone in the kölsch panorama in Cologne.

Bottle - light yellow / orange, high carbonation but only a small white head. Faint aroma, but pleasant. Slight ting on tongue. Slight zesty, part lemony - smooth.

Pours warm gold with almost no head (like my current dating life). Smells like a kolsh. Tastes like a kolsh. Light, smooth, nothing special, but nothing I special either. Why pay extra? Just get a bud light. Jk bud light sux. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at autobahn Aroma: malt Look: okay Taste: malty, but with something nasty Overall: another German beer check

Jabic (635) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 26, 2017
Ar: Pale, crackery malt; slight sulfur; some apple aroma and light sweetness; fine, dried-flower hop aroma. Ap: Clear golden; medium-large white head with good retention, very thick and frothy, settling into a thick cap, with some clinging sheets of foam on the glass sides. T: Lightly grainy up front; quite clean, with some mild notes of hay, toast, apple, and grape; low bitterness, very soft, with a dried flower flavor; grainy malt, hint of pineapple, chalk, and soft bitters linger on the finish. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; finish is dry. O: An excellent kolsch; light graininess and relatively clean fermentation profile; quite drinkable; a bit more fruitiness than a lager, but still quite a pure showcase of pilsner malt and noble hops.
