33 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours clear and pale yellow with a one finger thick white head. Light hoppy and mild grainy aroma. Flavour is clean and crips hoppy, very classic yet vibrant kölsch. Light, fresh bitterness in the finish. Nice and clean kölsch, thanks Roman!

An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty and hoppy, while the flavor is malty combined with notes of caramel and bisquites, leading to a toffee’ish dry end.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2013 Tap at Köln hauptbahnhof. Clear yellow, small white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of pepper and malt. Taste is only slightly bitter, decent malt. Very light and easy to drink, but short on flavor. 2.4. Second rating, draft at the source. Aroma is a bit more peppery, with a hint of citrus and straw in the flavor.

8th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Refreshing citrussy pale gold beer. Very dry finish with more citrus. A little too dry to be great.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pale golden with an almost absent head. Very pronounced, sweetish malty feel, a great softness and a very discreet bitterness. Kölsch is not the world’s most exciting style of beer but it’s soft and sympathetic. 240505
