Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours a cloudy golden color. Fruity-yeasty nose. Very wheaty, only shy hints of fruit, not as heavy on banana as many examples of the style.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! Smooth malty yeasty fresh beginning. Hints of sourness, nice yeasty clove. Not too fruity but round and smooth. Fresh, full in body with a nice clove-spicy finish, not much bitterness, not too sweetish. Round and nice Weizen.

Schmutzig trübe goldgelbe Farbe, schöne cremige weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr neutral, wenig hefig, würzig, getreidig. Geschmack hefig, getreidig, gering süß fruchtig, ingesamt schwache Aromen.

it’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, banana and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of spicy yeast, banana and wheat, and the finish is spicy - very well balanced and nice!

Bottle (Vielen Dank, Stefan!): Pale golden, big fluffy white head, that slowly collapses; moderate sourish lemony-wheaty nose with a distinctive yeasty touch, a tinge of vanilla in the background; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; a touch of hops in the sweetish-sourish finish. Refreshing Weizen.........

MoritzF (10256) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 18, 2009
(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a thick and stable foamy white head. Yeasty and sweet wheat-malty aroma with distinctive citrus-/lemon-fruity aroma, including a tinge of sourness and rather strong clove-spicy notes. Light-sweet and bitter tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty wheat-malty taste with a light to moderate fruit-character (lemon, grape-fruit) and a rising level of clovy and nutmeg spice, which makes the brew rather inharmonic (17.III.09).

Quack-Duck (9625) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 19, 2009
bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy yellow tih an orange touch, large and creamy head, wheaty-yeasty-nanana-ey nose. Full-bodied, solid malty base with wheaty and yeasty aspects. On top of that some nice spicy and dry hops, aromatic in the middle, dry and more bitter towards the finish. On top of al is a pleasant fruityness with great banana flavours. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. A Hefeweizen as it should be.

500ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, German beer week 2006, with Tranquility). Classic Hefeweizen - doughy head, lively, crisp, fresh, zesty and sweet - and that’s just the aroma! Delivers in the mouth everything promised to the nose. Someone please ship jbrus another bottle to taste!

Bottle @ the German beer festival, One Pint, Helsinki. I’m surprised to see the review below! This was a favourite among the 20 beers we tested around the table. Banana, lemon aroma. Thick white head with a honey-like, cloudy colour. Really fresh in taste; banana and orange zest. Good stuff!

jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2006
Bottled. Aroma is very bad veggies and I even thought I smelled some urine. Cloudy, white/yellow color, white head, fair lace. Light sweet, light bitter, hints of banana and citrus, even traces of vommit-like flavor, very light. Really coudn’t finish the bottle.
