0,5l bottle from the local supermarket. Pours hazy brown with a low head. Aroma is malts with perhaps a hint of spruce. Flavor is malts with a bit more spruce and some hops in the finish. A tad watery. Drinkable.

Pours with little head. Color is dark mead. Aroma has forest and meady notes (yeast, raisin). Palate is quite well balanced. Taste is a bit watery, but fresh and tastes like forest moss smells. Additionally sweet maltiness and slight bitter hoppiness. It’s a surprisingly tame and conventional beer.

Punertavanruskea väriltään. Tuoksu on hieman erikoinen, selvästi karamellinen, ehkä vähän tunkkainen. Maultaan edelleen makea, lopuksi tulee jotenkin salmiakkinen vivahde. Kokonaisuus on vetinen. Kunnioitettava yritys tehdä kuusenkerkällä vähän erilaisempi olut, mutta mitään selvää metsäisyyttä on hankala löytää ja vetisyys ei ainakaan omaan mieleen täysin ole.

Pours reddish-brown, but this beer is fairly light taste-wise. Though I could taste it, this beer’s signature spruce flavor probably should have been stronger. Not a bad beer for the price. This would definitely be a summer beer for me.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with white head. Aroma has caramel mostly. Taste also has caramel, some of that spruce sprout too, fizzy. Ok, but nothing special really.

Punertavanruskea olut. Hyvin niukasti vaahtoa, ei kerää ulkonäköpisteitä. Tuoksu aika mieto, mutta selvästi karamellinen. Maku on aika jännä.

Brown ale with spruce if I remember correctly. Dark brown amber with only some tanned bubbles on the side. Nose is cold iron & honey, moldy rug, sugar, very watery with lots of mold. Taste is weirdly watery, light peat (wth?) moldy & watery candy, tar, charcoal, heavily herbal, burned herbs, huge mold. Weak carbonation, strongly watery. All these weird flavoures, peat, huge mold, burned herbs & a very watery body on top. Nope, nice attempt at doing something different but not a success.

Darker amber in color with tin off-white head. Sweet butterscotch, grainy notes in aroma. Malty and some sweeter notes in taste. Dark fudge, little bit roasted and something from the green meadow in taste. Lot better than expected. Refreshing in a way as well.

panzerwolf (353) - FINLAND - JUL 18, 2015
Taste of spruce and grass. Just a very mild bitterness, mixing with a very brief sweetness, which for me is good because I prefer bitter over sweet. A very subtle taste, overall, that could use a little bit more bite.

23.5.2014. Aroma and taste of citrus, malts, spruce, a bit thin. Could use some more kick.

Ihan omaperäinen tuote. Huhtalan talouteen hyvin sopiva hippijuoma. Enemmän saisi olla potkua.
