A sensuous blend of the finest apples infused with vanilla and cinnamon to create a cider that is jammed packed full of winters flavours and aromas. While deliously crisp and thirlling when poured over ice, this cider is also the perfect beverage to heat over the stove and with a slice of orange in front of an open fire on a winters night.

GoufCustom (2178) - HONG KONG - FEB 4, 2015

500 ml bottle bought at Marketplace by Jason’s in K11, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Preparation: the cider was served hot by heat it up in a pot at 60 - 70 degree Celsius for a few minutes, then poured into a glass tankard to taste)

Looks: Clear pale greenish-yellow colour; explosive three finger head and soapy white froth which last about 2 minutes with excellent sticky lacing.

Aroma: light cooked apple, light cinnamon, faint vanilla and sugar.

Taste: Warm, fairly light sweet cooked apple, light green apple, light cinnamon, strong alcohol and light tannic.

Body: light body, thin and boozy palate.

Mouth Feel: Warm (obviously), very sweet even after heating up with a strong boozy feel as if pure spirit was poured in. Light apple taste, cinnamon is fairly light and vanilla is barely detectable. Some thin tannic in after taste which couldn’t beat the sweetness. Nah!

After Taste: Wet after taste; Very sweet and boozy to mouth.

Comments: I am afraid this one doesn’t work whether uit is served hot or cold: it feels raw, very sweet even warmed, the strong booze is incompatible to the already light apples and thin cinnamon and spices. I can imagine my teeth might melt if served ice cold. No!

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s, Darlington. Clear pale yellow colour with short-lived foamy white head and aroma of spice, candied apple & bubblegum. Very sweet taste with cinnamon, vanilla, bubble gum & concentrated apple favour. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, slight tartness, some spice and dryness at the finish.

Bottle at youngs pubs, fairly pleasant wintery lemonade replacement. Pleasant cinnamon and spice. I have tried it got and it’s revolting.

Not a bad cider, tastes a bit processed, some winter spice to it and quite warming, but not quite special enough

Geokkjer (7647) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 22, 2013

yngwie (17237) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 22, 2013
Can. An almost colorless, clear cider. No head or bubbles. Apples and some spices in the aroma, hints of something brett-like too. The flavor is too sweet, with apples and some spices. Rather thin on the palate, but at least not overcarbonated. Apples, spice notes and some brett hints in the finish. A quite decent Rekorderlig cider. 130222
