When Renaissance was started by Andy and Brian in a small country town in 2005 they could only have imagined how cool craft beer was to become a decade later. Brewing beer in the "Boonies" has sometimes made us feel far removed from the ultra-hip craft beer scene of the big cities, but that doesn’t stop us bringing you the great flavours that your palate desires, like this citrusy hoppy Xtra Pale Ale.

Sigmund (8157) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2018
330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet; Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of piney hops, hints of stale orange marmalade. The flavour is first fruity / citrussy, but also grainy, followed by distinct piney / resinous hops.

MashTrub3 (24) - Dunstable, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2018
hay, resin, citrus, pale, golden, clear, minimal head, medium bitterness, medium body, average carbonation Good mango and grapefruit nose and taste. Nice bitterness but which unfortunately soon overwhelms the fruit aromas.

AnG_BrgNor (819) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 3, 2017
Bottle. Straw yellow to almost orange with white head. Very much fruits in this one, sitrus and tropical with some pine and some sweet malts in the back. Light bu\itter aftertaste.

Grumbo (4747) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2017
Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours hazy yellow gold with a big frothy white head, and touch of biscuit. Nice aroma of hop, zesty citrus and light tropical fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Toward medium body, watery texture, higher than expected/too much carbonation.

Skarecrow (1143) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 27, 2017
330ml bottle Hazy honey yellow with OK head. Aroma is orange/grapefruit plus malt and grassy note. Mild bitterness, slight creamy malty middle palate and mild hop finish. Alright.

Theydon_Bois (22092) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2017
So the 5.2 % version is listed as an IPA and the 5.8% is an APA ... Ok ! Bottle at home, split with and thanks to James, 05/05/17. Golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is pretty basic ...biscuit crumble, caramel, straw, light fruit esters. Taste comprises caramel, light orange peel, toasted bread, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a little dusty hop bitterness. This one of those ’Gateway’ type of beers or wat?

Idiosynkrasie (8433) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 8, 2017
330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, faint, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, some grapefruit, hints of gooseberry. Taste is juicy fruity, slightly piney hoppy, notes of pineapple, hints of grapefruit, a touch of gooseberry, full-bodied pale malty backbone. Holistic, harmonious, well integrated and balanced.

dunklermessias (430) - GERMANY - APR 6, 2017
On tap at Lager Lager Berlin (and a Growler for home). Comes with an amber color and a small white head. Very nice nose: passionfruit, strwaberry, tropical fruits and slightly pines.Taste is not as fruity as the nose, but very well balanced bitter-sweetness. Grapefruit peels, pines and floral jops. Nice bitter palate.

biir (1729) - Berlin, - APR 2, 2017
Tap @ lagerlager - slightly hazy dark golden color, white head. Taste is ripe tropical fruits, honey, vanilla. Good malty body. Dry bitter finish. Low carbonation. Very well balanced. Good.
