500ml bottle. Wow. Big creamy head atop a dense golden body with large bubbles making up and settling quickly. Bursting with big juicy hop aroma that are floral, piney and oh so good. Flavour is robust with a citrus aftertaste and tangy fruitiness that lingers.

Last one from my 4 pack, but not my last one from this brewery. This bottle poured an attractive amber colour with slighly more carbonation than the other in the range, an off white head . The beer smells of citrus and grapefruit which I am told is a characteristic of the american hop that was used. The taste is well balanced and interesting more delicate than the others, very drinkable. The finish is very resiny and lingering with a citrus taste which is slightly bitter and refreshing. A great beer for a hot day.

500ml bottle. Tangy bitter aroma with grassy notes floating over a bit of stonefruit. Lovely golden ale colour, smooth long lasting head. Bitterness on the taste is nicely rolled along by a smooth sweet tone; fading to a lip-smacking citrusy hop aftertaste. Bitterness is very moreish, but not too rough to prevent you enjoying the next taste or the food on your plate. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture, lively flavours fizzing around your palate. Perhaps my favourite summer-afternoon-on-the-deck sup.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2010 Tap at the local taphouse. Great beer. Aromas of grass, flowers, caramel, and a hint of citrus. Taste has a long, bitter finish. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Yellow, with a frothy head.

floral, citrus, cereal, banana, ginger, nice warm gold with rich white head. chill haze thicker than most but certainly not murky. An immediate blast of fruity esthers and floral notes from Cascade hops, followed quickly by hop bitterness. finish is dry and refreshing, slightly sweet and wheaty -- reminiscent of German Weiss. piquant carbonation makes for a fluffy sensation on the tongue, finishes crisp and refreshing but a little hollow mid-swallow.

Needs to be left open for a number of minutes as is way too much carbonation. Really enjoyable after a period standing, a solid beer.

Bottle. Deep amber gold with a foamy off-white head that retains beautifully and decorates the glass with delicate lace. Very fragrant hop aroma of tropical fruit and citrus zest. Flavours of sweet honey-kissed malt and passionfruit, grapefruit, and resin. Finish is crisp and bitter and of medium length. Perfectly balanced, with a medium body in spite of the big flavours-- dangerously quaffable. Fantastic!

From a 500ml bottle on 21/12/2010. Pours golden, with just a tiny bit of sediment evident. Has a pleasant and quite strong aroma of floral and citrus hops, and a little honey. Starts off with sweet fruit (apricots), along with some biscuity malt and some honey. Has a very solid and quite dry hop finish, with a lingering grapefruit like aftertaste. A very nice APA, and impressive for something which is only 4.5%. Classy packaging too.

Growler, 10C. A beer Ive passed on many times because of unease about bottle age. Pale amber with a modest white head. Aroma of oranges and flowers, peaches, lychees. Sweet stone and tropical fruit with clean pale malt malt supporting, then a floral peppery bitter finish thats moderate but cuts through nicely. Reminders of some of the newer English golden ales hopped with new world hops, though presumably this came first. Delicate, refreshing and highly drinkable.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2008 This is my second attempt at this one, the first time i tried this it promised much but delivered little....this time it kicks ass! i think this is going to become a favourite of mine! great nose, its all passionfruit and pine resin, looks good in the glass and tastes great, more of that pine resin passionfruit flavour. Its like a dialled down version of monks habit and mayhem almost a session version. My only critisism is that its a bit light on the palate for me but hey its still going to be a must have in the fridge.
