0.5l bottle from BrewDog Camden. A massive everlasting and thick lacing foamy tan head arises from the glass on top of a deep dark body. The aroma is roasty with coffee and chocolate. Also a bit bitter, wet rocks, some soy sauce and a hints of leather couch and gunpowder. The flavor has lots and lots of burned bitter malts! It’s filled with soy sauce and Belgian bitter chocolate. It’s low on the carbonation and extremely slick in the mouthfeel. Lasting bitter and not least burned aftertaste in this one. My, oh my. A lasting sipper with tons of flavor! 01.08.2012
330ml bottle. Pours dark with a fizzy head. Toast, raspberry, cherry, some spice, nice chocolate notes. Body is quite carbonated. Nice. KyotoLefty (10263) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle from Yamaya. A little old. Soft, chocolaty malt, rich, caramel, some berries, a bit oxidized. Cloudy dark brown, low thick head. Lots of cocoa, berries, light roast. Very well balanced, great chocolate malt but not very sweet. Peppery, bitter finish works well. Body is a bit light, but smooth. Nicely done overall. tombutlin (313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - APR 26, 2017
Nice porter. Good balance of chocolate and nuts with long aftertaste. Didn’t try to do too much DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 13, 2017

500ml bottle pours a dark brown color with a bit of head. Rich caramel flavor. The caramel is a little too sweet for the alcohol.

Solid porter. Scipio (1081) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - FEB 13, 2017
Pours a very dark brown with a medium, lingering beige head. The aroma contains heavier amounts of chocolate and earthy malts, complimented by coffee and cocoa. The taste has plenty of rich chocolate and coffee, along with licorice, earthy malts, minor roasted malts, and a little bit of raisin. Chocolate aftertaste. Medium in body, with a thin, slick texture, and flat in carbonation. This is a good porter to recommend.
