4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is my favourite beer style ,what a great 4 pack from this brewery. The bottle poured an inky black with a fluffy tan head, very tight bubbles. The scent of this beer was coffeeish and chocolaty with hints of ripe plums. The creamy rich head was followed by an intense flavour dominated by roasted notes and sweet caramel, finishing with a lovely chocolate sensation. The lingering flavour was still around well after the bottle was gone. This beer is truely a stand out in their range and accordingly this is the brewers favourite style.
Jemne vyvazene. Dlouhaaaaa chut. Vyrazny porter. Ale neni kysely. Velmi prijemny

From tap at Muted Horn, Berlin. Very dark mahogany color with a beige head. The aroma is full of roasted malt with lots of coffee, some caramel, burnt wood; slightly earthy and peaty - very nice aroma. Medium body with a light to medium sweetness and a light bitterness. Very balanced. The flavor is again full of roasted malt - coffee, toffee, caramel, some chocolate. Finishes lightly bitter, roasty with some burnt notes. Very nice porter!

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with deep ruby glimmer and average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, sulphureous to beige head. Roasty dark malty, fruity hoppy and minimally herbal aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, pumpernickel, a touch of lovage, fruity hints of dark berries, bramble, juniper berry. Taste is slightly sweet, chocolately dark malty and fruity, notes of dark chococlate, a minimally ashy touch, hints of plum, bramble, morello cherry.

Bottle from Yamaya. A little old. Soft, chocolaty malt, rich, caramel, some berries, a bit oxidized. Cloudy dark brown, low thick head. Lots of cocoa, berries, light roast. Very well balanced, great chocolate malt but not very sweet. Peppery, bitter finish works well. Body is a bit light, but smooth. Nicely done overall. tombutlin (370) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - APR 26, 2017
Nice porter. Good balance of chocolate and nuts with long aftertaste. Didn’t try to do too much DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 13, 2017
