Unfiltered beers are prized by artisan brewers worldwide who relish a pint thats cloudy and hazy with nothing stripped away. We do too. So at Renaissance, our White IPA is packed with unmalted wheat and heroic doses of New Zealand grown American hops. Aromas of dried tangerine and fresh citrus. A luscious body with a dry lingering evergreen finish. Think of it as a beer made - and served - the way nature intended. "Cloudy as."

Smells of sweet tropical fruit with the underlying tang of hops. Pours cloudy tan with foamy white head dissipating quickly. Small flecks of yeast apparent. Sweet aroma quickly gives way to herbal bitterness right through the palate from start to lingering finish. Fruity yeast notes and biscuity malt lie under the piney hops. The wheat is more apparent in the aroma than flavour, but is hiding away there. As an IPA variant this is fun, if youre after a bananaery wit beer go elsewhere

Bottle from (Feb 2014). Cloudy orange/amber, frothy white head, doughy, yeasty, peppery, citrus/pine hops, very long, resinous bitter finish. Nice.

(Bottle) Cloudy amber with huge white head. Pleasant refreshing aroma, mainly citrus with hints of toffee and spice. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Taste is hops all the way, but in a very good way. They overlay a refreshing gentle citrus tang. Plenty of hoppy bitterness in a very long lasting finish. Nice hoppy IPA, rather unusual.

The head is ok, the body orange-brown and cloudy. It smells yeasty, hopintensive, a bit fruity. The taste is yeasty-wit, bitter, a few different hops, malty. Interesting! 3.7

Rob liked it. Hard to drink 2 in a row. Hop bitterness is quite abrasive and it lingers on the palate for a long time. True to brewer intention, very cloudy and enjoyable drop. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle from Archive. Loose white crown of frothiness, sweet banana and bubblegum aroma and a full thick mouthfeel. Wheat beer on steroids.

Slowbeer ontap (21-Sep-13) Herbal lemon light fruit aroma. Lemon herbal hop flavour. Bitter herbal dry finish and lemon crisp aftertaste. Hardly a wheat beer.

Pours hazy gold with a quickly fading head. Nose shows some floral and herbal hops alongside soft sweet malt and a touch of wheat. Fairly similar flavours. Soft, light malt with a fair bit of spicy and herbal hops. Finishes with a bold, sharp bitterness. Carbonation feels just a bit full on.

Give s a break - another over hopped IPA! Aroma and colour all to expectation. Palate and taste dominated by hops about as subtle as a slap in the face with a wet flounder. If you are going to hop the hell out of a beer at least warn us on the label.
