COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the big, hearty ’red wine’ of our range. Nine malts are blended to produce layers of caramel, coffee, liquorice, chocolate and roasty flavours and these are balanced by a tart, raisiny fruitiness that gradually gives way to a lingering dry finish. Rich, full bodied. warming and moreish. Stonecutter pairs well with venison, roast beef or lamb, or the heartiest casseroles and stews. For dessert try with a creme brulee or, of course, Scottish shortbread.

Bottle - 500ml. Hazy copper body with a thick, lasting, off-white foamy head. Rich malty/hoppy taste with brown sugar, woody, and fruity hints. Its robust malty/hoppy taste carries woody and barley sugar notes. Ends with a moderately warming, bittersweet finish. Good stuff.

Cantabrian (1130) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 29, 2016
I thought I had done this ages ago. Well, here we go. Clear brown copper, with an off-white head that’s just a bit too bubbly. Aroma of booze, biscuits and brown sugar. Taste is on the same vein, with malts, biscuits, molasses, nuts and raisins. A whole bloody muesli. Medium body, pleasant to drink.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2016 Butelka 330ml. Ciemno -mahoniowy kolor o ladnych rubinowych refleksach. Piana raczej mala ..bezowa ,szybko zanika. W zapachu suszone owoce:rodzynki slodkie rozane aromaty ,slody, karmel i wisnie. W smaku slodkawe z delikatnym wedzonym tlem. Duzo tutaj owocowych akcentow. Alkohol grzeje w przelyk ale nie jest nahalny. Rodzynki toffi i "beczkowe"drewniane nuty...naprawde niezle.
