Designed first and foremost to be served on beer engines and in the future as a cask or bottle conditioned ale, this beer is inspired by the boldly hoppy Ales of old that were exported from Britain to the furthest corners of her vast and glorious empire, Voyager I.P.A. is a rich satisfying Ale with an emphatic hop bite.

It is brewed with pale ale malt from Canterbury, and small additions of European specialty malts to yield a malt base on which to build its hop edifice.

We generously hop it with two Kiwi hop varieties for bitterness then finish it with Fuggles (as a nod to I.P.A.’s British origin) and New Zealand bred Riwaka hops for a spicy floral finish.

330ml bottle. Pours orange brown. Caramel, biscuit, strawberry, blackberry, black pepper, orange marmalade. Nice full body. Not usually a fan of more English style IPAs but the body and malt profile on this are hard to say no to. Nice.

Lore (2671) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 16, 2017
clear dark golden to amber colour, medium sized off-white head; aroma and taste of citruses, bittery orange zest oils, marmalade, resiny notes and some caramel; good IPA!

Mr_Pink_152 (4887) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2017
Bottle from Crafty Bottle, Lincoln. This was a lively one, Hazy amber colour big foamy head. Aroma yeasty and caramel, tobacco, and black tea, not a hoppy IPA. Taste yeasty, sweet, ok but not what i expected.

Bule (2137) - California, USA - FEB 19, 2017
500ml bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Mild hop flavors. Homebrew yeastiness dominates.

Skarecrow (697) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 7, 2017
330ml bottle Hazy light brown color with good head. Peach/citrus aroma. Medium bitterness with biscuit malt body and pine resin finish. OK.

Idiosynkrasie (7436) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - NOV 12, 2016
330ml bottle. Crystal clear, orangey amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimalyl lacing, white head. Slightly bready, aramel malty aroma, weak floral and grassy-spicy hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally bready, caramel and pale malty, floral, grassy, bitter hoppy overtones, subtle sweetness, a cautious touch of tangerine. If I had to name beers that should be dished up as prototypical examples in a style category at a newbie tasting this could show up as English Pale Ale.

Benzai (15486) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle @ home. Clear somewhat golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, hop bitter, bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Quite nice.

TedE (1304) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 12, 2016
On tap at Captains Daughter, Havelock. Clear golden beer with creamy thin head. Distant hop nose. Earthy fruity hop taste, finish follows taste. Tasty quaffer.

tombutlin (313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 29, 2016
Vastly overrated and quite disappointing. This was a bland and bitter beer with no individually identifiable hop aromas and the taste went straight to a bitter throat-clearing aftertaste
